The 2019 NFL season is now 9 weeks old and there is still enough time to start picking up people from your fantasy football waiver wire. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.

Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire wide receivers for Week 10.

Zach Pascal, WR, Indianapolis Colts

With T.Y. Hilton (calf) out Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pascal became Indianapolis’ No. 1 wide receiver and finished with five catches for 76 yards and a touchdown on six targets. Jacoby Brissett’s exit with a left knee injury, which head coach Frank Reich tabbed as an MCL sprain, clouds the outlook of the Colts’ passing game. But Pascal caught his touchdown on Sunday from Brian Hoyer, and the matchup in Week 10 is too good to ignore.

Despite sitting toward the bottom in catches per game allowed to the position, the Miami Dolphins entered Week 9 allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to wide receivers (Yahoo! PPR scoring).

Reich suggested Hilton will miss 3-4 weeks with his calf issue. Assuming that’s the case, Pascal gets fairly tough-looking matchups in Week 11 (Jacksonville Jaguars and Week 13 (Tennessee Titans) around a great matchup in Week 12 against the Houston Texans. Going a little further, into when Hilton would be back, Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Week 15 against the New Orleans Saints look favorable for Pascal.

If only as a high-upside bye week fill-in in leagues with 12 or more teams, Pascal is a must-add for Week 10. But for as long as Hilton is out, and perhaps beyond, he’s well worth a roster spot in those same-sized leagues or leagues with large rosters.
