Frank Gore, RB, Miami Dolphins

The ageless Gore ground out some more yardage in a lead role against the New York Jets on Sunday, with 20 carries for 53 yards and one catch for six yards. He continues to get run ahead of Kenyan Drake, who had just seven touches (three carries and four catches) in the game. In five of the last six games, Gore has run for a least 53 yards or scored a touchdown.

Gore gets a pretty nice matchup in Week 10, as the Green Bay Packers have allowed four running back touchdowns over their last three games and 5.2 yards per carry to the position over their last two heading into Sunday night against the New England Patriots.

Coming out of a Week 11 bye Gore get a couple good matchups against the Indianapolis Colts and Buffalo Bills, who both entered Week 9 in the bottom half of the league against running backs (ESPN PPR scoring).

Assuming Gore maintains a prominent role, he’s a high-floor, low-upside fantasy running back. But that makes him a solid depth option, and worth consideration as a flex option in 12, 14 and 16-team leagues in each of his next three games.
