The 2018 NFL season is nine weeks old and there is still enough time to start picking up people from your fantasy football waiver wire. Every year a no name blows up in Week 1 and ends up being a top-20 fantasy football player over the remainder of the season. So, instead of letting your competition beat you to the punch, use your fantasy football waiver wire to find the next big thing.
Let’s get things started by taking a look at some fantasy football waiver wire wide receivers for Week 10.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, Green Bay Packers
With Geronimo Allison out again, Valdes-Scantling had three catches for 101 yards (on six targets) against the New England Patriots Sunday night. The rookie out of USF has now caught a touchdown or topped 100 yards in four straight games, and his role as the starter opposite Davante Adams feels locked in.
The upcoming schedule look mostly good for the Packers wide receivers, with some easy or at least decent-looking matchups (Miami Dolphins-Week 10, Seattle Seahawks-Week 11, Arizona Cardinals-Week 13, Atlanta Falcons-Week 14, New York Jets-Week 16) and a couple tough ones mixed in (Minnesota Vikings-Week 12, Chicago Bears-Week 15). So Valdes-Scantling should be able to keep his current momentum going, and of course having Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball helps.
Any hesitancy to add Valdez-Scantling as a WR4 12 and 14-team leagues should be gone now. He’s slightly less appealing in PPR leagues, but that’s nitpicking.
