Boston Scott, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

After an out of nowhere performance in Week 14 (10 carries for 59 yards and a touchdown, six catches for 69 yards), Scott followed up with 65 total yards on 13 touches (seven catches) against the Washington Redskins on Sunday. Even with Miles Sanders operating as the Eagles’ lead back, the Darren Sproles role in Philadelphia is pretty clearly Scott’s.

It’s not a great matchup in Week 16, as the Dallas Cowboys entered Week 15 as a mid-pack fantasy defense against running backs. The possible return of Jordan Howard for a must-win game next Sunday also looms over Scott’s potential role and impact.

Keep an eye on Howard’s status, but it’s hard to envision the Eagles completely putting Scott on the back burner with how well he has played over the last two games. If you need a flex option in a deep PPR league, the Louisiana Tech product is on the radar.
