Denver Broncos, D/ST

The Broncos’ defense, with the help of snow, did about as well as a defense could do against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday (23 points allowed, three sacks, one interception). They have registered three sacks in three straight games, with at least eight fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring) in three of their last five.

Three of the last four defenses to face the Detroit Lions have posted at least 13 fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring) with multiple interceptions and multiple sacks. In five of the last six, with Matthew Stafford (back) out, the Lions have scored 20 points or less as well.

The Lions are in line to get running back Kerryon Johnson (knee) back from IR this week, and there’s still a lingering chance Stafford plays. But even with the idea those two may play, the Broncos’ defense are the latest viable team defense streamer with the target on whoever is playing a depleted Detroit offense.
