O.J. Howard, TE Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Howard has has a down season, but due in part to wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) exiting the game early he had four receptions for 73 yards against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 14. He has topped 60 yards in back-to-back games now, with nine catches on 11 targets over that span.

With Evans possibly out for the season, and surely out for Week 15 against the Detroit Lions, Chris Godwin owners can rejoice about the target volume that will come his way. But Howard is also in line to benefit, with Jameis Winston unlikely to rely on the unproven collection of wide receivers that remain and quite possibly spread things out between them. The Lions also entered Week 14 in the bottom half of the league against tight ends.

If you’ve been hoping Howard would have better days, or jumped off the bandwagon entirely, he looks set to deliver in the low-end TE1 range over the remainder of the fantasy playoffs. Narrowing to Week 15, he’s a viable streamer.
