Anthony Miller, WR, Chicago Bears
Miller had nine receptions for 140 yards (on 13 targets) against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day, including a couple 30-plus yard plays on the game-winning drive. He has at least nine targets and six catches in three straight games (double-digit targets twice), with over 50 yards in all three and in four of his last six games.
Week 14 brings a tough matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, who are in the top-10 of the league against wide receivers (Yahoo! scoring). But they have allowed a touchdown to the position in four of their last five games, and an individual receiver has topped 13 fantasy points (0.5-point PPR) in three straight. Week 15 and Week 16 aren’t a lot better, as the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs both also in the top-10 of the league against wide receivers.
But Miller and Mitch Trubisky have rekindled what was a solid connection at times last year, right at the most important time for fantasy football owners. The second-year man out of Memphis is a viable WR3 in 12 and 14-team leagues now, with a slight boost in PPR formats based on the target volume he’s been getting.
