Tony Pollard, RB, Dallas Cowboys
Pollard has just two carries for 12 yards on Sunday against the Detroit Lions, but he added four catches for 44 yards and a touchdown as he was more involved in a broad sense. Ezekiel Elliott is still obviously the lead back in Dallas, but he hasn’t look the same this season after an extended holdout and Pollard has at least three targets in two of the last three games. Does Elliott have a hidden injury? Or is it just a slow season with a late start to getting in football shape?
The Elliott owner in your league should really already have Pollard as the handcuff, since he would be in line for that fantasy profitable role if Zeke were to be sidelined. If you don’t own Elliott adding Pollard is plenty worth considering, rather than holding onto an extra player that will never see your lineup down the stretch and into the fantasy playoffs.
