Bo Scarbrough, RB, Detroit Lions
Another week, and another Lions’ running back has a game that garners some attention. It was Bo Scarbrough’s turn in Week 11 against the Dallas Cowboys, as he had almost as many snaps (31) as Ty Johnson (18) and J.D. McKissic (14) combined while taking 14 of the 19 running back carries for 55 yards and a touchdown.
If Scarbrough maintains a prominent role in Week 12 he’ll get a favorable matchup against the Washington Redskins, who entered Week 11 as a bottom-10 fantasy defense against running backs. Of course that is a big “if” with how the backfield committee has been operating, and it’s worth noting Scarbrough did not get a pass target last week.
Scarbrough is only for a certain segment of fantasy owners off the waiver wire right now-those in deep leagues who have an injury or bye week issue at running back for Week 12. If there are any indications he’ll at least keep the role he had last week, he’ll be on the RB3/flex radar in those leagues with 12 or more teams and/or with large rosters.
