Sam Darnold, QB, Carolina Panthers

Darnold had another nice showing in Week 3 against the Houston Texans, going 23-for-34 for 304 yards with two rushing touchdowns. He has topped 300 yards through the air in back-to-back games, with multiple touchdowns accounted for in all three games thus far. Even without Christian McCaffrey (hamstring), he’s in position to keep it rolling in Week 4.

The Dallas Cowboys don’t play until Monday night Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles, but entering the week they were allowing the 10th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks (Yahoo! scoring). After the Cowboys in Week 4, Darnold gets the Eagles in Week 5, the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6, the New York Giants in Week 7 and the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8. Only the Eagles entered Week 3 in the top half of the league (as in stingiest) in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks.

Darnold is a solid streaming option in at least four of the next five weeks. He’s a must-add as a low-end QB1 or a QB2 in 12 and 14-team leagues.
