RB Sits: Adrian Peterson, Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys

For the Redskins, this will be game one without Alex Smith and Colt McCoy should be a serviceable replacement but leaning on Peterson will be expected. That’s not to say that Peterson won’t get volume, and for that he should be considered an RB2 start but the Cowboys defense is a force this season and has not allowed a running back to score on them in the last two weeks. Peterson last got 99 yards when he faced the Cowboys in Week 7 but the Redskins had better depth at receiver and a dependable quarterback under center. As one of the few playmakers remaining on the Washington roster, All Day is going to faced stacked boxes for much of the game.
