QB Sit: Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints
After winning three straight, it appeared that the Falcons had it figured out. Then the Falcons got beat by the Browns and Ryan fell short of expectations, even with 330/2/0. But then he followed that up with 291/1/1 against the Cowboys. Ryan is in one of his periodic slumps and despite all the weapons around him, he just doesn’t play as sharp as he should. Now, Ryan usually has good games against the Saints, but they’ve cranked up the defense, with seven interceptions over their last four games. These are two teams headed in different directions and the Falcons have yet to figure out a running game plan to help Ryan out.
