Malcolm Brown, Los Angeles Rams

Current ADP: 13.12
Sleeper Type: The Overlooked One

In some running back situations, one back is often overlooked. Todd Gurley is the bell cow in the Rams offense and while there are still questions about how the 2018 season ended, 2019 looks like it’s all systems go. Still, the Rams want to be wiser about how much they use Gurley and are expected to sprinkle in rookie Darrell Henderson as the change of pace back.

But what if Gurley does go down? Is Henderson really the one to take over the carries meant for Gurley? I don’t think so. Brown has been with the Rams for a few years and had the bad luck of a few injuries that kept him off the field when the Rams needed him most. He’s more of the true replacement for Gurley and is also in line for carries around the goal line if there is a time share between Brown and Henderson.
