Jared Cook, TE , Los Angeles Chargers

Cook had just three catches for 28 yards against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2, with a holding penalty that brought back a touchdown. A disappointing showing in a good matchup, but Week 3 brings a solid rebound opportunity.

The Kansas City Chiefs allowed over 100 yards to the Cleveland Browns tight ends in Week 1, then Baltimore Ravens‘ tight end Mark Andrews had five catches for 57 yards in Week 2.

Cook is clearly the top tight end for the Chargers. Even if he’s third or fourth in the overall pecking order for targets, pass volume is coming against Kansas City in Week 3 and for plenty of weeks going forward. He’s still a low-end TE1 in fantasy, with latent upside in the right matchups.
