WEEK 8 PICK THEM UP:  QB  |  RB  |  WR  |  TE  |  K  |  DEF

The seventh week of NFL games is over and the waiver wire as active as ever which is a good thing as we hit the middle of the bye weeks. This week in particular presents some quality waiver options at quarterback, running back and tight end. A majority of the waiver wire adds we recommend this week are the same ones we recommended last week which goes to show just how useful this article can be for getting the jump on potential adds. Be sure to check your waivers for the “Carryovers from Last Week” because in most cases those guys hold the most value.

Quick Note: Not all players that had strong Week 7 outings are on this list, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t have value. If you have any questions about free agents not discussed in this article, head over to the forums and we’ll help you with the answers. If you are wondering who to cut to pick these one of these players up, stay tuned for our Week 8 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Cut List.

TEAM DEFENSE—PICK THEM UP

Cleveland Browns DST

The Cleveland Browns’ defense looks as strong as ever now that Joe Haden is back from his suspension. In the two games since his return the Browns have forced five turnovers and five sacks against two very good offenses in the Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts.

This week the Browns will take on a San Diego Chargers’ offense that giving up three sacks and 2-plus turnovers per game while averaging only 330 total yards of offense. With their offense looking better than it has in years, put your trust in the Browns this week and grab them as a spot play.

Consider Adding In: 12-team and 14-team Leagues; especially as a bye week fill-in

Carryovers from Last Week: Arizona Cardinals DST, Minnesota Vikings DST

Team Defense Watch List: Dallas Cowboys DST, New York Giants DST, New England Patriots DST, Oakland Raiders DST
