WEEK 8 PICK THEM UP:  QB  |  RB  |  WR  |  TE  |  K  |  DEF

The seventh week of NFL games is over and the waiver wire as active as ever which is a good thing as we hit the middle of the bye weeks. This week in particular presents some quality waiver options at quarterback, running back and tight end. A majority of the waiver wire adds we recommend this week are the same ones we recommended last week which goes to show just how useful this article can be for getting the jump on potential adds. Be sure to check your waivers for the “Carryovers from Last Week” because in most cases those guys hold the most value.

Quick Note: Not all players that had strong Week 7 outings are on this list, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t have value. If you have any questions about free agents not discussed in this article, head over to the forums and we’ll help you with the answers. If you are wondering who to cut to pick these one of these players up, stay tuned for our Week 8 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Cut List.

KICKERS—PICK THEM UP

Robbie Gould, K, Chicago Bears

As of right now, Robbie Gould has not yet played his Week 7 game. Despite that it is easy to recommend him in Week 8. Through five games Gould has multiple field goals and 11+ points in four of them. The Chicago Bears are currently destroying everyone they have come across leading to conservative second halves that have resulted in plenty of field goals.

In Week 8 Gould faces a Carolina Panthers team that is giving up 3+ field goals and two extra points per game (12 total points) to kickers each week. It’s the best matchup a kicker can have this year and Gould is an excellent kicker. Roll with him this week if you can get your hands on him.
