WEEK 3 PICK THEM UP:  QB  |  RB  |  WR  |  TE  |  K  |  DEF

After the second week of games we are getting a better idea who the reliable fantasy football producers are going to be. A lot of them are still on the waiver wire. We hope you didn’t get hit by the injury bugs going around but in case you did, here’s a list of potential replacements that are available in at least 25% of Fleaflicker leagues. If you read up last week you will notice that some of these players were on last week’s list. Take this as an extra vote of confidence for those players. Without further ado, here are the week three most desirable waiver additions.

Quick Note: Not all players that had strong Week 2 outings are on this list, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t have value. If you have any questions about free agents not discussed in this article, head over to the forums and we’ll help you with the answers. If you are wondering who to cut to pick these one of these players up, stay tuned for our Week 3 Waiver Wire Cut List.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS PICK THEM UP

Buffalo Bills DST

The Bills got off to a rough start against the Jets in week one. Apparently the Jets were acting like they didn’t know what they were doing in the preseason. Then they came out and looked arguably as good as they ever have. The Bills terrible performances landed them in most fantasy owners’ doghouse. Naturally the Bills responded with a ridiculous performance in their domination of the Chiefs in week two. Five sacks, three forced turnovers and a Leodis McKelvin return TD led to the best fantasy scoring of the week. And guess who they play in week 3? Why the lowly Browns ofcourse, the perennial fantasy defense kingmakers. Weeden and Richardson looked good this week against a terrible Bengals defense but they’ll find a whole other challenge against the Bills. Expect big things next week for the Buffalo DST. They are available in 58% of Fleaflicker leagues.

Arizona Cardinals DST

The Cardinals are always a viable defense at certain points in the season because of their week division. Oddly it appears they might even be playable in non-division games this year. After two strong showings against the Seahawks and Patriots, they look to take down the Eagles in week three. So far this season the Cardinals have relied on sacks and low points allowed to feed their scoring. They’ve scored well despite forcing only three turnovers. Turnovers shouldn’t be a problem against an Eagles’ defense that has given up nine turnovers through two games along with four sacks. We expect the Cardinals to continue the trend of fantasy productivity against the Eagles this week.
