Former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner is willing to extend an olive branch to Gregg Williams.
Warner, who is one of the central figures involved in the New Orleans Saints' “bounty” program, took to Twitter on Saturday and voiced his sentiment.
“All this talk about Gregg Williams receiving a “LIFETIME” ban from the NFL ... I disagree, we all deserve a 2nd chance! What r ur thoughts?” Warner posted.
Warner was blasted by defensive end Bobby McCray during a 2010 NFC divisional playoff game between the Arizona Cardinals and Saints.
While the hit hurt Warner, he contended that it wasn't illegal.
Williams has been indefinitely suspended by the league for his role in the bounty program, which spanned for three years in New Orleans.
