- Jake Delhomme led the Browns to a TD in his only drive, including a fourth down conversion.
- Playing in his first NFL game, Colt McCoy left the game after banging his hand on a the back of a Browns’ helmet while throwing a pass
- Jennings had 68 yards receiving yards and looks to bounce back after a subpar 2009 campaign.
- Seneca Wallace threw two touchdown passes, but it appears the job is Delhomme’s.
Arizona Cardinals 19 vs. Houston Texans 16
- Matt Schaub picked up where he left off in 2009, finding Andre Johnson in the endzone for a score
- Schaub completed five of six passes for 78 yards with the touchdown.

- Beanie Wells caught a touchdown pass for Anderson and totaled 11 carries for 36 yards.
- Arian Foster rushed for 31 yards on four carries, and looked even better after Steve Slaton fumbled at the goal line
Minnesota Vikings 28 @ St. Louis Rams 7
- Sam Bradford was good on four of his first five passes, but spent most of his time in the game getting sacked and hurried.
- Sage Rosenfels had a big night throwing for over 300 yards, but he accomplished this against the Rams’ second-team defense and will not see the playing field with Brett Favre returning. Same goes for Tarvaris Jackson.
- Most of the signature fantasy stars did not play in this game like Brett Favre, Sidney Rice, Percy Harvin, and Steven Jackson.
- Toby Gerhart rushed eight times for 24 yards, as he tries to solidify his role as Adrian Peterson’s backup.
San Diego Chargers 25 vs. Chicago Bears 10
- Ryan Matthews, wearing No. 24, may as well have been wearing the old No. 21 of LaDainian Tomlinson because he looked just like him in his impressive debut.
- Matthews gained 50 yards on nine carries and caught two passes for 11 yards.
- Philip Rivers threw a touchdown pass to Legedu Naanee, not Malcolm Floyd. Floyd is still the Chargers wide out you target.
- Jay Cutler finished 2-for-2 for 47 yards. Both passes were to Johnny Knox.
- Devin Aromashodu hauled 78 yards receiving with a score. Knox posted two catches for 47 yards.

- Vince Young was perfect on his first five passes for 78 yards, but his sixth, and last, pass was intercepted.
- Mike Williams had a 51-yard touchdown, but don’t begin to think about drafting him. Let him prove his worth first.
- Matt Hasselbeck was 4-for-10 for 26 yards, and should looked like the 2009 version, not the one that is supposed turn it around in 2010.
- Javon Ringer rushed seven times for 60 yards. He should good explosion in the open field.
- Justin Forsett totaled seven carries for 17 yards, and while he may be the best fantasy choice on the Seahawks, he’s just one part of an potential RBBC in Seattle.

- Peyton Manning and the Colts’ first-team offense breezed past the Niners in their short time on the field.
- Anthony Dixon rushed for an impressive 100 yards on 21 carries with a touchdown. Frank Gore owners don’t need to worry about handcuffing him anymore now that the Niners have signed Brian Westbrook.
- Alex Smith was a pitiful 3-for-9 for 37 yards and could only manage two first downs.
- To Smith’s credit, neither Gore nor Michael Crabtree played and Vernon Davis was only in for a very brief time.
- David Carr, Smith’s backup, went 9-for-11 for 98 yards with a touchdown.
- Joseph Addai scored, but will once again face competition from Donald Brown again in 2010. Addai is still a RB2 for your fantasy team.
Cincinnati Bengals 33 vs. Denver Broncos 24
- The debut of Tim Tebow stole the show, but he still won’t get much playing time as long as Kyle Orton is healthy. At some point this preseasonTebow may pass up Brady Quinn, who had an awful game.
- Orton threw two touchdown passes in the three series he played.
- Jabbar Gaffney could surpass Eddie Royal as the Broncos’ top receiving and fantasy football option
- Carson Palmer targeted Terrell Owens six times and also connected with his rookie tight end Jermaine Greshman on a couple plays
- Bernard Scott rushed eight times for 65 yards and would get a huge fantasy football boost if anything happens to Cedric Benson.
- Rookie Jordan Shipley led the Bengals in receiving with five catches for 50 yards. Shipley is part of a crowded receiving corps, however he’s at least giving his coaches something to think about.
New York Giants 31 @ New York Jets 16
- Eli Manning completed four of eight passes for 77 yards. He received a huge gash on his forehead after a miscommunication with Brandon Jacobs, but is believed to be fine.
- Ahmad Bradshaw got the start for the G-men, but they went back to Jacobs when the ball was inside the five.
- Giants wide out Victor Cruz racked up an impressive 145 yards and three touchdowns. He has a lot of competition ahead of him on the depth chart to overcome before he has any fantasy relevance.
- As expected, Steve Smith did not play. Hakeem Nicks had one catch for 13 yards.
- Mark Sanchez was an impressive 13-for-17 for 119 yards with a touchdown. He also led the Jets on three scoring drives, played the whole first half and accomplished all that after having his first pass intercepted.
