Veteran center Jeff Saturday agreed to a two-year contract with the Green Bay Packers on Friday.
Financial terms were not disclosed for the deal, which was reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The 36-year-old Saturday had been rumored to follow former Indianapolis Colts teammate Peyton Manning to Denver. He is now being viewed as the replacement for Scott Wells, who signed with the St. Louis Rams last week.
“I wanted him to work for (the) team full time but he wanted to go at it one more year ... He's as good of a man as it gets,” Colts owner Jim Irsay wrote of Saturday on his Twitter account.
Saturday has started 188 regular-season games during his 13-year career.
