NFL takes issue with Pro Bowl tweet from Redskins' Fletcher

The NFL relaxed its rules on social media and allowed players to tweet during Sunday's Pro Bowl.

The league, however, took issue with a remark made by Washington Redskins linebacker London Fletcher, CBS Sports reported.

”$500 to whoever predicts the final score. Must be my follower. $1,000 if you predict the score and MVP. Deadline halftime #probowl!” Fletcher posted.

Nearly 20 minutes later, Fletcher pulled a reverse and offered another tweet.

“Just found (out) from the NFL (that) I can't make that offer ... sorry, I'll think of something for you all later that won't get me in trouble. #probowl.”

He then deleted the previous tweet and offered an autographed Pro Bowl jersey for the winner.

For what it's worth - whether it's $1,000 or an autographed jersey - Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall set a Pro Bowl record with four touchdown receptions as the AFC posted a 59-41 triumph over the NFC in Honolulu. Marshall was named the game's MVP.
