51. Bryant Johnson (Detroit Lions) @ Chicago

The other Johnson in the Lions’ receiving corps, this one would be the Danny DeVito to Calvin Johnson’s Arnold Schwarzenegger if there were a Detroit Lions version of the movie “Twins.” Okay, that may be pushing things a bit, especially because Johnson came up with the winning touchdown catch in the Lions’ first win since 2007. He ended the game with four catches for 73 yards to go along with the score.
Point Projection: 6 points

52. Sidney Rice (Minnesota Vikings) vs. Green Bay

Rice is a big receiver who has a knack for finding the end zone, having done so last week and four times in 2008 despite playing in only 10 games. In fact, two of his scores last season came against the opponent he will up facing this week in the Packers.
Point Projection: 6 points

53. Mark Clayton (Baltimore Ravens) @ New England

Clayton had just three catches for 35 yards on Sunday in the Ravens’ win over the Browns. However, he also had two rushes for 15 yards, and has carried the ball three times this year. The Patriots offer a stern test for Baltimore’s passing game, but Clayton has a chance to put up decent numbers each week.
Point Projection: 6 points

54. Laveranues Coles (Cincinnati Bengals) @ Cleveland

Coles’ five catches for 34 yards were actually his best effort so far this season. Coles has had too much previous success and is playing with too talented a quarterback to be held down all season, however. He’ll have a highly productive game at some point, and it may even be this week.
Point Projection: 6 points

55. Louis Murphy (Oakland Raiders) @ Houston

Murphy is the only legitimate wide receiver on the team at this point, as he’s outplaying fellow rookie Darrius Heyward-Bey. He’d be much more valuable if not for the crap-fest that is JaMarcus Russell at quarterback. As it is, he’ll have to make due, as the Raiders have said they’re not going to make a change. At least not yet.
Point Projection: 6 points

56. Mike Furrey (Cleveland Browns) vs. Cincinnati

Furrey is a possession receiver who will not make big plays for the Browns, yet still holds fantasy value because he gets looks from whoever the awful quarterback the Browns throw out there may be. Don’t expect touchdowns, but 30-60 yards per week is reasonable.
Point Projection: 5 points

57. Lance Moore (New Orleans Saints) vs. New York Jets **CHECK INJURY STATUS**

Moore is struggling with a hamstring injury and did not play in the Saints’ win over the Bills last week. Even when he’s suited up, he’s struggled this year, but that can’t last that much longer for a guy who was so valuable last year, can it?
Point Projection: 5 points

58. Jabar Gaffney (Denver Broncos) vs. Dallas

Gaffney has 10 receptions this season, four of which came last week against the Raiders. He is not the type who will get down the field often, so fantasy owners will have to make do with his middling yardage if using him in their lineup.
Point Projection: 5 points

59. Domenik Hixon (New York Giants) @ Kansas City CHECK INJURY STATUS

Hixon did not play last week due to his knee injury, and in fact, he has just two catches in two games this season. But, the big and athletic Hixon has a very good match-up in the form of the Chiefs this week and a return to practice should signal a return to the field.
Point Projection: 4 points

60. Mike Wallace (Pittsburgh Steelers) vs. San Diego

Wallace had the best game of his rookie season last week, hauling in seven passes for 102 yards, though that wasn’t enough to help the Steelers avoid an upset loss to the Bengals. Wallace has at least two catches in every game this season, so he’s being looked at by Ben Roethlisberger, but he’s not consistent enough to be counted on yet by fantasy owners.
Point Projection: 4 points

61. Patrick Crayton (Dallas Cowboys) @ Denver

After a great opening week, Crayton has fallen back to earth, having caught just four passes for 48 yards in the two games since. However, he does have at least one rushing attempt in each game this season, and has picked up 39 rushing yards, which is a little bonus for fantasy owners.
Point Projection: 4 points

62. Pierre Garcon (Indianapolis Colts) vs. Seattle

Garcon scored for the second straight week, despite having just three receptions. That’s part of the reason for his low ranking, as his opportunities for fantasy points come in the form of big plays, and you can’t always trust that they’ll be there, making him a prime candidate for a bust week at any point.
Point Projection: 4 points

63. Brandon Stokley (Denver Broncos) vs. Dallas **CHECK INJURY STATUS**

Stokley is nursing a thigh injury which caused him to barely see the field last week against the Raiders. His health and inconsistent productivity make him an iffy play this week, but his match-up against the Cowboys is a good one if he sees the field much.
Point Projection: 4 points

64. Josh Reed (Buffalo Bills) @ Miami

Reed is a possession receiver who won’t create big plays – he’ll simply catch what’s thrown to him. Last week, he caught six passes and accumulated 60 yards, and that’s about what he’ll be good for the rest of the season, with maybe one or two scores in there somewhere.
Point Projection: 4 points

65. Bobby Wade (Kansas City Chiefs) vs. New York Giants

Wade seems to have found a place in the Chiefs’ offense, and despite catching just two passes for 13 yards last week, he found the end zone. It won’t be easy for him to do the same thing this week against the Giants, who are No. 1 in the league in pass defense.
Point Projection: 4 points

66. Jordy Nelson (Green Bay Packers) @ Minnesota

With three catches for 46 yards, Nelson had his most productive game of the early 2009 season. The second-year pro out of Kansas State is a possession type who does not have a single play of at least 30 yards so far in his young career.
Point Projection: 4 points

67. Malcolm Floyd (San Diego Chargers) @ Pittsburgh

Floyd has just four receptions this season, but he‘s made them count. With this those four catches, Floyd has 127 receiving yards, which is an average of nearly 32 yards per catch. You can’t count on him to be a consistent threat, but his big play ability is enticing.
Point Projection: 4 points

68. Austin Collie (Indianapolis Colts) vs. Seattle

Collie had his best day as a pro last week, with three receptions for 47 yards. The rookie from BYU has good hands and is a solid possession receiver, but lacks big play ability like his teammate Pierre Garcon, so his fantasy points will come on racking up yards, and those have been hard to come by for him so far.
Point Projection: 3 points

69. Deion Branch (Seattle Seahawks) @ Indianapolis

Branch played for the first time this season in the Seahawks’ Week 2 loss to the Bears, catching two passes for only 11 yards. With more practice time under his belt, his numbers should improve, and it’ll also help if Matt Hasselbeck returns to health.
Point Projection: 3 points

70. Legedu Naanee (San Diego Chargers) @ Pittsburgh

Naanee caught four passes and wound up with 40 receiving yards in the Chargers’ Week 3 win over the Dolphins. Naanee is the type of bigger receiver that San Diego seems to have in bulk, and he uses his size well, however, not often enough, thus hurting his fantasy value.
Point Projection: 3 points

WEEK 4 BYE WEEK WIDE RECEIVERS

Larry Fitzgerald (Arizona Cardinals) - Leapin’ Larry isn’t quite leaping as high as he was last season as the Cardinals’ wide receiver has just one double digit fantasy performance in the team’s first three games. A big reason for the lack of explosiveness from the Arizona Aerial Assault has to do with the lack of time Kurt Warner is getting to throw the ball. If they can fix that problem over the bye week, look for Fitz to begin to bust out.

Anquan Boldin (Arizona Cardinals) - His 83 yard and 1 TD performance in the Cardinals’ week three loss against the Indianapolis Colts is definitely a promising sign that Boldin, who was banged up to start the season, is returning to his dominant self.

Steve Breaston (Arizona Cardinals) - With 83 and 94 yards in the two games he’s played in this season, Breaston has shown that last year’s 1,000-yard season was no fluke. Look for him to remain a solid WR3 after the bye week.

Roddy White (Atlanta Falcons) - Matt Ryan looks even better this year, but so far, that hasn’t translated into better numbers for White as the Falcons’ wide receiver has just one double digit outing in 3 games. Look for him to be more involved in the team’s game plan moving forward.

Michael Jenkins (Atlanta Falcons) - He’ll need a few more outings like the 78 yard performance he had in week 3 before he truly becomes fantasy relevant.

Steve Smith (Carolina Panthers) - Smith hasn’t been the stud wide out we are used to, but it hasn’t really be to any fault of his own. Rather, Smith has suffered as a result of Jake Delhomme’s horrid play at the quarterback position. Hopefully, the bye week will allow Delhomme to figure things out, helping Smith return to elite wide out status.

DeSean Jackson (Philadelphia Eagles) - Sophomore slump? How about sophomore stud? Jackson has already racked a healthy 46 fantasy points in three weeks of play. His owners must be furious with the timing of his bye week as Jackson is on fire right now.
