21. Fred Jackson (Buffalo Bills) @ Miami

Fred Jackson’s ranking for Week 4 is just a guess to be honest. Remember, although Jackson has enjoyed a nice start to the season including another 97 total yards of offense this past week against the New Orleans Saints, Marshawn Lynch is coming back from suspension. While we find it hard to believe that after this success and Lynch’s off field problems that Jackson loses the starting job, he very well could. Come back through the week and ask us in the LIVE Q and A’s if we have any more information on this situation, as if Jackson is the lead back he will be valuable. But if he splits or loses a lot of carries to Lynch then Jackson’s value takes a major hit.
Point Projection: 11 points

22. Julius Jones (Seattle Seahawks) @ Indianapolis

For all of the Julius Jones owners that panicked when Justin Forsett had looked as if he will be making a push at some of Jones carries, fear no more. In fact Forsett had only two carries while Edgerrin James had four. Jones on the other hand had 22 touches for the 136 total yards and a touchdown. This week they face the Indianapolis Colts; a solid but unspectacular defense. Jones should continue a somewhat successful way, making him a solid option for a low end RB2 in Week 4.
Point Projection: 10 points

.
23. Darren McFadden (Oakland Raiders) @ Houston

Against the Denver Broncos in Week 3, Darren McFadden was the most successful Oakland Raiders running back; that isn’t saying much, trust us. He had 15 touches for 48 yards and a whopping goose egg for touchdowns. Either the Broncos are really this good, or the Raiders Week 1 showing was a fable. This week McFadden takes on the Houston Texans rush defense that allows a league worst 204 rushing yards per game. If the Raiders had any type of consistency at QB McFadden would be a top five play this week but with that not being the case you have to settle for RB2 status and hope JaMarcus Russell is half way decent..
Point Projection: 10 points

24. Joseph Addai (Indianapolis Colts) vs. Seattle

Already enjoying a semi-successful season, Joseph Addai went for 71 yards and a touchdown Sunday night against the Arizona Cardinals. In Week 4 he faces the Seattle Seahawks defense; a team with solid linebackers but still is someone that you can run on. Look for Addai to put up solid but unspectacular numbers making him a decent low end RB2 or high end Flex option.
Point Projection: 10 points

25. Leon Washington (New York Jets) @ New Orleans

While Leon Washington has been the Robin toThomas Jones’ Batman this year, he did touch the ball nearly as many times as Jones in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans and produced much better. While 52 yards on 13 touches is only a 4.0 play average, it is something to keep an eye on. Look for Washington to be played a tad less than Jones in Week 4, yet he should still produce well enough to be a must start on the bye week and if the Jets have to pass to keep up with the Saints expect Washington to rack up the receiving yardage.
Point Projection: 9 points

26. Ahmad Bradshaw (New York Giants) Kansas City

Ahmad Bradshaw is one of the better true backup running backs in the NFL as he normally puts up a handful of fantasy points on a weekly basis. Last week he went for triple-digit yardage against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; a team that is much better defensively than this weeks’ competition, the Kansas City Chiefs. Bradshaw will produce enough to make a solid option as a flex-option during this bye-week.
Point Projection: 9 points

27.  Darren Sproles (San Diego Chargers) @ Pittsburgh

Undersized but the heart of a lion; those are words that would describe the San Diego Chargers Darren Sproles. But after a rough outing against the Miami Dolphins, things don’t get easier against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is expected to be the main back once again for the Chargers in Week 4 as LaDainian Tomlinson is on the mend but he is not expected to grab load of fantasy points. Expect Sproles to fight hard for his 70-80 total yards in this football game with most of his yardage coming on passing plays.
Point Projection: 8 points

28. Correll Buckhalter (Denver Broncos) vs. Dallas

While Knowshon Moreno was the star in last week’s game, Correll Buckhalter still added 108 yards on 14 carries against the Oakland Raiders. This week Buckhalter takes on the Dallas Cowboys, a team that has not been impressive at all defensively. While you will want to see how Moreno bounces back after a game in which he was hobbled, odds are Buckhalter will be 1b for the Denver Broncos in Week 4. That still makes him a viable flex-option in deeper leagues.
Point Projection: 8 points

29. Thomas Jones (New York Jets) @ New Orleans

After a big Week 1 Jones has lost the edge of late and has been far from spectacular. With the Saints allowing just 67 rushing yards per contest and Jones not playing a big role in the passing game this could be another lackluster game for the again veteran. What Jones does have on his side though is the fact that he still gets touches at the goal line and all it takes is a short yardage touchdown scamper to save the day.
Point Projection: 8 points

30. Tashard Choice (Dallas Cowboys) @ Denver  **CHECK STATUS OF BARBER**

With the injury to Marion Barber in Week 2, Choice was bumped up to second string on Monday night and he made the most of his opportunity. When starting running back Felix Jones went down in the third quarter it was Choice that rose to the occasion and helped the Cowboys’ pull away in the second half. He finished with 118 total yards and a touchdown with the majority of those statistics coming late in the game. With Jones already being ruled out in Week 4 and Barber likely being a game-time decision you could get another productive week out of Choice. We issue this ranking with the assumption that Barber plays but if he doesn’t go ahead and use Choice as a low end RB2.
Point Projection: 8 points

31. Cadillac Williams (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) @ Washington

Cadillac Williams had a horrendous Week 3 as did the rest of his running back mates, We will chalk that up as just one of those weeks. It will be interesting to see if Williams can bounce back and continue a nice resurrection to his career. The Washington Redskins are giving up over 127 rushing yards per game and have been easily ran upon so expect some decent yardage out of the “Cadillac”. A visit to pay dirt? Well that is a different story and the make or break between a double-digit fantasy points or not in Week 4..
Point Projection: 7 points

32. Maurice Morris (Detroit Lions) @ Chicago

This high of a ranking is dependent on Kevin Smith not being able to perform to his normal abilities in Week 4 against the Chicago Bears due to injury. Maurice Morris did rush the ball 8 times for minimal yardage but he did have a touchdown. Against the Bears Morris could struggle some, but will be productive enough if Smith isn’t playing to be a decent flex-option play in deeper leagues. If Smith plays though downgrade Morris significantly in the rankings.
Point Projection: 7 points

33. Fred Taylor (New England Patriots) vs. Baltimore

While it is going to take more than one game to convince us that Fred Taylor will be used as the main back for the New England Patriots, it is interesting to note that Taylor did touch the ball 22 times, 21 on carries and went for 105 rushing yards and a touchdown. Unfortunately Week 4 won’t be a good test as the Baltimore Ravens are very dominant. Taylor isn’t expected to do much this week but is still a running back that you will want to keep your eye on as the season unfolds.
Point Projection: 7 points

34. Marshawn Lynch (Buffalo Bills) @ Miami

While there is nothing to fall back on this year as far as Marshawn Lynch’s play is concerned as he was suspended for the first three games of the year, he has played 4 games against the Miami Dolphins in his career; averaging 80 all-purpose yards while punching in a total of 2 touchdowns. His counterpart, Fred Jackson, has excelled so far this season and will be giving Lynch a run at the starting job. Don’t be surprised if both players see the rock on a regular basis, with one of them eventually becoming the goal-line back. While that is just speculation, Jackson’s talent is too good to keep on the sideline, thus making the role of Lynch a question mark. Use these next few weeks to gauge how head coach Dick Jauron will use Lynch.
Point Projection: 6 points

35. LaDainian Tomlinson (San Diego Chargers) @ Pittsburgh  **CHECK INJURY STATUS**

Let me first start off by saying that while if LaDainian Tomlinson plays this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers that he would be a low-end RB2 in deeper leagues, the fact of the matter is that the San Diego Chargers will most likely sit Tomlinson. How can you not? He has a bye-week coming up next week, Darren Sproles has been efficient and the Chargers need Tomlinson healthy to be a serious contender. All stats aside, look for him to return in Week 6 and that is when we will know what type of back the Chargers believe that Tomlinson will be this year.
Point Projection: 6 points

36. Donald Brown (Indianapolis Colts) vs. Seattle

While he didn’t have a touchdown, Donald Brown still had 112 total yards against the Arizona Cardinals. As weeks go on it seems as if Brown will be the yardage back while Joseph Addai seems to be the goal-line back, although Brown will still get his chances. Both are solid compliments to each other and while Addai will remain the more effective running back, Brown does deserve a spot on your fantasy football roster. This week he will be a low-end flex option in deeper leagues.
Projected Points: 6 points

37. Michael Bush (Oakland Raiders) @ Houston

While Michael Bush only had 40 yards in Week 3, he did touch the ball 10 times; a solid number for a backup back. This week he takes on the Houston Texans; a team that he should do well against. Another game of solid fantasy points is expected; but he will very rarely reach double-digit points unless he grabs a touchdown. That makes him too inconsistent of a running back to rely on especially with this match-up in Week 4 as the Oakland Raiders will most likely be airing the ball out to try and keep pace with the high powered Texans offense.
Point Projection: 6 points

38. Larry Johnson (Kansas City Chiefs) vs. New York Giants

The New York Giants have a way of making good players look bad, so what can they do to not-so-good anymore players? We are about to see this week as Larry Johnson just limped to 38 yares on 19 carries against the Philadelphia Eagles. Sadly, this high paid running back may have a hard time duplicating even this weak effort. It is obvious though that the Kansas City Chiefs will be feeding the rock to Johnson on a weekly basis so a chance to break a solid run is there. Just don’t expect anything more than low-end flex production in deeper leagues.
Point Projection: 6 points

39. LenDale White (Tennessee Titans) @ Jacksonville

After a slow start to the 2009 season LenDale White found pay dirt in Week 3 against the New York Jets. This week White faces a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that is susceptible to allowing short yardage touchdowns. White’s value lies in his touchdowns so he is a do or die play every week. He is not a recommended play unless he is your best option as the bye-weeks start.
Point Projection: 6 points

40.  Reggie Bush (New Orleans Saints) vs. New York Jets

Reggie Bush actually had more touches than Pierre Thomas in Week 3. While that may mean Thomas is still banged up, it could also mean that the New Orleans Saints were just looking to pass more, using Bush in the role that he is best at; sure hands out of the backfield. Either way, against the New York Jets Bush stands to be a mediocre play at best. Unless you are really hurting because of the bye-week schedule, keep Bush on the bench.
Point Projection: 5 points

Out of these receivers I have which 3 are the best to start for week 4?

Andre Johnson, V Jackson, K Walter, M Sims-Walker.

Also, if I were to trade either Johnson or Jackson, what kind of RB value would I reasonably expect to get? I realize that might be hard to quantify, but would trading either one for C Benson be good for me, or should I expect less/more if I’m looking for RBs?

Thanks
