WIDE RECEIVERS - PICK THEM UP
Josh Morgan (San Francisco 49ers)
The passing game has started to come alive for the San Francisco 49ers with quarterback Alex Smith under center, and as teams focus on wide receiver Michael Crabtree and tight end Vernon Davis, Josh Morgan suddenly finds himself in some favorable match-ups. In week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Morgan caught seven passes for 61 yards and a touchdown. It was the most catches in a game this season for Morgan. The last four weeks Morgan has caught 22 passes, which is as many as he had through the first 10 weeks of the season. Since Morgan is low on the pecking order for the 49ers, he should only be considered in deeper leagues for now.
TIGHT ENDS - PICK THEM UP
John Carlson (Seattle Seahawks)
After a great start to the season with 6 catches for 95 yards and two scores in week 1, Seattle Seahawks’ tight end John Carlson fell off the map. As Seattle went through a number of issues on its offensive line, Carlson’s time was mostly spent blocking to try to protect the quarterback. The last two weeks that’s started to change. He’s got a touchdown in each of his last two games, and this past Sunday, he caught a season-high seven passes. Considering how little he was used in the middle of the season, Carlson should only be considered in deeper leagues for now. The talent is there, but unfortunately the Seahawks haven’t demonstrated the ability to get him the ball consistently.
Jermichael Finley (Green Bay Packers)
Green Bay Packers’ tight end Jermichael Finley has really come on in recent weeks. He’s got five or more catches in three of the Packers’ last four games as well as three touchdowns over that span. He’s also had 70 or more receiving yards in each of the last three weeks. With the Green Bay offense playing as well as it has all season, Finley should continue his solid production, which would make him a good option in any league for an owner in need of a tight end. (Cough, cough, Dallas Clark owners, cough cough)
J.P. Foschi (Cincinnati Bengals)
The Cincinnati Bengals have traditionally not been a team that utilized the tight end position for anything more than extra blocking, and that’s been the case this season as well. However, J.P. Foschi, who didn’t even start the season on the Cincinnati roster, had a breakout game this past weekend in a loss to the San Diego Chargers as he caught seven passes for 82 yards. Watching the game, it became clear that quarterback Carson Palmer is starting to trust Foschi more as the duo often hooked up for the tough yards that guys like Chad Ochocinco, Laveranues Coles and Andre Caldwell can’t seem to get. Considering how little Foschi has been used this season, we can’t recommend him for anything but very deep leagues for now, but keep your eye on him for the future because he’s playing for a potential starting position next year and will make the most out of whatever opportunity he gets.

Look at CATSFAN taking the time to read the introduction to the Cut Them Loose article!
That is correct when I wrote the Week 16 Cut Them Loose article I focused on Red Flag Players from the AFC who will likely get drafted in 2010 but come with a burning question. We also looked at guys that you should flat out stay away from because they are likely to come with too much risk.
Best of Luck in all of your Week 15 match-ups

Nice advice sitting Fred Davis for Sidney Rice, those 7 pts lost the semi’s for me, don’t rely on Bruno Boys to set your lineup, go with your gut, like I should of, shame on me!

Jeffrey, the Bruno Boys allow us to make educated decisions. I doubt if anyone sets their complete line up on their advice.

I disagree, there are plenty of people who set their lineups on the advice of experts, otherwise fantasy sites like this and guys like Michael Fabiano would have no reason to exist.

billsfan82, seriously? where do i send the tissue. the fact that you would suggest that the bruno boys lost you the game makes me laugh. i can only assume you are the guy who always blames others for decisions which are ultimately yours. now if the bruno boys called themselves the bruno magicians, or bruno boy oracle guaranteeing your results, then that would be a different story.

Picklenator, thank you for the lesson, you sure told me. Before you, I thought that fantasy sites could foretell the future, now I know I was foolish. I am now a better person because of your internet smack talk. I will always remember you fondly! I’m very grateful for the wisdom you bring to this wisdom-less world that we all live in. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
Peace be with you!
