26. Michael Crabtree (San Francisco 49ers) vs. Detroit

Crabtree was held to three receptions for 26 yards by the Eagles last week, breaking a string of four consecutive games with 50 or more receiving yards. He’ll undoubtedly blow past that mark this week against the Lions, who are last in the league in pass defense and passing scores given up.
Point Projection: 9 points

27. T.J. Houshmandzadeh (Seattle Seahawks) @ Green Bay

With Nate Burleson out, Houshmandzadeh was Seattle’s No. 1 receiver, and he responded with seven catches for 73 yards in the Seahawks’ embarrassing loss to the Buccaneers. Burleson has a high ankle sprain, and could be out again this week, making Housh a solid play against a team in the Steelers that just gave up 500 passing yards.
Point Projection: 9 points

28. Braylon Edwards (NY Jets) @ Indianapolis

Edwards caught five passes for 101 yards and one touchdown against the lowly pass defense of the Falcons last week. He’s now caught a touchdown in two of his last three games, though that feat may be difficult to accomplish this week against a Colts team that is 10th in the NFL in passing touchdowns allowed.
Point Projection: 9 points

29. Percy Harvin (Minnesota Vikings) @ Chicago

Harvin had his least productive game as a pro last week, catching only one pass for 10 yards as Minnesota fell to the Panthers. He also seems to have a problem with his neck, and will be getting tested this week, so keep an eye out for news in that regard.
Point Projection: 9 points

30. Chris Chambers (Kansas City Chiefs) @ Cincinnati

Chambers has continued to resurrect himself after being let go by San Diego, and this week caught five passes (on five targets) for 114 yards and one touchdown. He has had 50 or more receiving yards in all but one of his seven games with Kansas City, and has had at least 70 yards four times.
Point Projection: 9 points

31.  Antonio Bryant (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) @ New Orleans

Bryant didn’t have the game many expected against Seattle, catching three passes for 35 yards, but his team did pull the upset. Bryant is capable of much more, and this week he goes up against the Saints, who are ranked 25th in the league against the pass.
Point Projection: 8 points

32. Devery Henderson (New Orleans Saints) vs. Tampa Bay

Despite being targeted eight times, Henderson hauled in only two catches for 33 yards last week against the Cowboys. However, he dropped a pass in the end zone that would have resulted in a much better outcome for his fantasy owners. This week, he has a good match-up against the Bucs, who allow copious amounts of passing touchdowns.
Point Projection: 8 points

33. Lee Evans (Buffalo Bills) @ Atlanta

Evans scored a touchdown last week in Buffalo’s loss to the Patriots for the first time in four games. The touchdown catch was one of his three receptions for 35 yards on the day. While he hasn’t been putting up staggering numbers, Evans does have an outstanding match-up this week against a Falcons team that is 30th in the league in pass defense.
Point Projection: 8 points

34. Santana Moss (Washington Redskins) vs. Dallas

Moss caught three passes for 55 yards last week in Washington’s shellacking at the hands of the Giants. This was his third consecutive game with at least 55 receiving yards, and he should meet that mark once again next week against Dallas’  21st-ranked pass defense.
Point Projection: 8 points

35. Roy Williams (Dallas Cowboys) @ Washington

Completely untrustworthy. Those are the best words to describe Williams in the realm of fantasy football. He’s either all in or all out, as evidenced by his one catch for 12 yards last week against the Saints. That’s why he’s in the exact middle of our rankings; who knows what to expect from this guy?
Point Projection: 8 points

36. Dwayne Bowe (Kansas City Chiefs) @ Cincinnati

Bowe was targeted a team-high 10 times last week in the Chiefs’ loss to the Browns, which was double the amount any other player received. However, in his first game back since a suspension, Bowe could only catch four of those passes, for 56 yards. Cincinnati can be thrown on (15th in the league in pass defense), so don’t let the match-up completely frighten you.
Point Projection: 8 points

37. Pierre Garcon (Indianapolis Colts) vs. NY Jets  **CHECK INJURY STATUS**

Garcon caught only two passes for 16 yards last week against Jacksonville before sitting out the second half due to a hand injury. The malady isn’t thought to be serious, but with the Colts having wrapped everything up, Garcon may not get a plethora of playing time.
Point Projection: 8 points

38. Terrell Owens (Buffalo Bills) @ Atlanta

Were it not for his match-up with the Atlanta Falcons’ abhorrent pass defense, Owens would be much further down this list after his two catches for 20 yards last week against the Patriots. However, Atlanta has a serious aversion to pass defense, ranking 30th in the league, so that bodes well for the mercurial Owens.
Point Projection: 8 points

39. Austin Collie (Indianapolis Colts) vs. New York Jets

Collie caught a touchdown for the third consecutive game last week as part of a three reception, 27-yard performance as the Colts upended the Jaguars. However, it was also the third straight week that Collie had fewer than 40 receiving yards, and he’s had less than 30 yards three times in his last five games.
Point Projection: 8 points

40. Kevin Walter (Houston Texans) @ Miami

Walter scored his first touchdown since Week 3 last week in Houston’s win over the Rams in a game that saw him catch a total of four passes for 42 yards. He has a very nice match-up this week against a Miami team that has struggled all season to stop the pass.
Point Projection: 7 points

41. Josh Morgan (San Francisco 49ers) vs. Detroit

Morgan led all 49ers players with seven catches and 61 yards last week, and he also scored a touchdown for the second time in three weeks. He’s a nice sleeper this week against the Lions, who possess the worst pass defense known to man.
Point Projection: 7 points

42. Bernard Berrian (Minnesota Vikings) @ Chicago

Berrian caught three passes for just 29 yards last week, another poor performance by a guy many thought would go to another level this season. That hasn’t happened, unless that level was one down from his previous play, but with Percy Harvin having injury problems, and Berrian beating Chicago for six catches and 74 yards in Week 12, he deserves a spot in the top-45 in the rankings this week.
Point Projection: 6 points

43. Devin Hester (Chicago Bears) vs. Minnesota  **CHECK INJURY STATUS**

Hester missed last week due to his calf injury, the second straight game he’s missed with the injury. It was not known at the time of this writing if Hester would play or not this week, but if he does, he’s a solid option against the Minnesota Vikings, who are 20th in the NFL in passing touchdowns allowed (tied with two other teams).
Point Projection: 6 points

44. Hakeem Nicks (NY Giants) vs. Carolina  **CHECK INJURY STATUS**

Nicks led Giants receivers with 66 receiving yards last week on just two receptions. He failed to catch a touchdown pass for the first time in two weeks, but he does have a string of five consecutive games with at least six fantasy points. Also, before you go plugging Nicks into your lineup make sure he is active for Sunday’s game as the rookie tweaked his hamstring during the Giants Week 15 victory over the Washington Redskins.
Point Projection: 6 points

45. Nate Washington (Tennessee Titans) vs. San Diego

Washington led Tennessee receivers with five targets in their game against Miami last week, yet he only managed to catch one pass. Thankfully (for his fantasy owners) it was a 32-yard touchdown reception. He has a somewhat difficult match-up with the Chargers this week, but he’s always capable of one big play.
Point Projection: 6 points

46. Donnie Avery (St. Louis Rams) @ Arizona

Avery caught four passes for 32 yards from Rams rookie quarterback Keith Null in the team’s loss to the Texans last week. He is the team’s top receiving option, and had a good match-up this week with Arizona, but the team focuses all of its (futile) offensive efforts on running the ball.
Point Projection: 6 points

47. Devin Thomas (Washington Redskins) vs. Dallas

Thomas had a disappointing game on Monday night against the Giants, just like the rest of his teammates. He failed to catch a single pass, but has shown in past weeks that he does have a role in the Redskins’ offense. The last time he faced Dallas he had three catches for 33 yards.
Point Projection: 6 points

48. Kenny Britt (Tennessee Titans) vs. San Diego

Britt had his least productive game in more than a month in Tennessee’s win over the Dolphins, as he caught only two passes for 32 yards. The return of Justin Gage may have had something to do with that, but Britt remains an outstanding deep threat and shouldn’t be ignored due to this performance.
Point Projection: 6 points

49. Steve Breaston (Arizona Cardinals) vs. St. Louis

Breaston hasn’t been of much use in fantasy terms of late, and he caught just three passes for 38 yards last week against the Lions. He’s now gone five straight games without 40 or more receiving yards, and if he didn’t have a solid match-up against the Rams this week, he’d be lower on this list.
Point Projection: 5 points

50. Justin Gage (Tennessee Titans) vs. San Diego

Gage caught two passes for 43 yards last week, with both receptions going for touchdowns. Don’t expect that type of thing to happen frequently, even with Vince Young showing marked improvement. Gage is still getting his feet under him after missing four games, as those two catches were his first since Week 9.
