17. Eli Manning (New York Giants) @ Washington

Sure the New York Giants rolled up over 500 yards of offense last week, and sure quarterback Eli Manning threw for 391 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions, but it was all for naught as it came in a loss to the Eagles. This week, Manning will travel to Washington to face the Redskins, who rank fourth in the league in passing yards allowed. Also, remember the last time these two teams met, Manning had one touchdown and three turnovers.
Point Projection: 12 Points

18. Jason Campbell (Washington Redskins) vs. New York Giants

Three straight weeks now Washington quarterback Jason Campbell has posted big games, and those performances hav all come without running backs Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts in the backfield. There’s no doubt the Redskins are playing better on offense, but that trend will slow a bit this week at home against the Giants. The first time these two teams met the Giants limited Campbell to a single-digit performance and forced him into three turnovers. He’ll rebound some what this time around, but to expect him to be in the 18+ range he’s been at the last three weeks would be foolish.
Point Projection: 12 Points

19. Vince Young (Tennessee Titans) vs. Miami **CHECK INJURY STATUS**

Tennessee quarterback Vince Young was playing well on Sunday before leaving the game with a hamstring injury. Young is listed as questionable this week, but with the Titans still in the playoff hunt, they’ll do whatever they can get him on the field against the Dolphins. If he plays you can expect an OK game from Young throwing against the rookie corners of Miami. On the other hand, if Kerry Collins were to get the start, or play the majority of the game, then we would project him for nine points as he is much easier to game plan for than Young.
Point Projection: 12 Points

20. Chad Henne (Miami Dolphins) @ Tennessee

Not much attention has been paid to Miami Dolphins’ quarterback Chad Henne this season though that’s probably been a good thing. It has allowed Henne to grow on the job as a second-year player and first-year starter on a team with a poor receiving corps. He’s now posted back-to-back double-digit games and had three double-digit performances in the last four weeks. The Titans defense has been playing pretty well recently, but they are hurting on defense at every position. Expect another OK-but-not-good game from Henne this week.
Point Projection: 12 Points

21. Carson Palmer (Cincinnati Bengals) @ San Diego

The Bengals and quarterback Carson Palmer are struggling right now. Thus far, they’ve gotten by on a good running game that helped set up the pass, but in week 14, that running game was shut down, which in turn limited Palmer to just 94 passing yards and a touchdown. We expect Palmer and the Bengals to do better this week against the Chargers, but not by much, especially if the running game is held in check again.
Point Projection: 11 Points

22. Alex Smith (San Francisco 49ers) @ Philadelphia

What San Francisco quarterback Alex Smith did on Monday Night was impressive as he led the 49ers to a big win over divisional foe Arizona. Unfortunately his stats didn’t mirror the team’s good performance as he threw two picks to go along with his two touchdowns. This week Smith should struggle again as he plays on the road at Philadelphia, which will be a tough environment to play in for San Francisco. Look for Smith to struggle as the Eagles’ bring the pressure.
Point Projection: 11 Points

23. Chris Redman (Atlanta Falcons) @ New York Jets

As we stated when Matt Ryan went down, Atlanta Falcons’ quarterback Chris Redman has been a good fill-in option for those looking for a solid late-season pick up. Unfortunately, this week isn’t the best one to consider Redman for a starting position as he’ll play at New York against a good Jets defense, that owns a secondary that has caused eight interceptions in its last three games.
Point Projection: 10 Points

24. Brady Quinn (Cleveland Browns) @ Kansas City

Maybe the Browns are figuring out ways to get the balls to their skill position players without having quarterback Brady Quinn making a bunch of throws he shouldn’t. Or maybe it’s just that the Browns got a little lucky last week in their win over Pittsburgh. Quinn does have a favorable match-up this week against the Chiefs, but we wouldn’t expect too much, even with him not throwing an interception in four weeks.
Point Projection: 10 Points

25. David Garrard (Jacksonville Jaguars) vs. Indianapolis

Jacksonville quarterback David Garrard typically struggles against the better defenses in the league, though the one exception to that rule came in week 10 when he had a good game against the Jets. However, Garrard is playing the Colts this week, and he’s never really done all the well against them. Case and point, in the first meeting between the two teams, Garrard threw for just 122 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions.
Point Projection: 9 Points

26. Daunte Culpepper (Detroit Lions) vs. Arizona

The Lions are hopeful Matthew Stafford can play this week, but it appears to be wishful thinking. He didn’t practice at all last week, and there really is no upside to playing him at this point. That means Daunte Culpepper will earn his second consecutive start against the Cardinals, and we expect a slightly better performance than what he did last week against the Ravens when he threw for 135 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions - just not that much better.
Point Projection: 8 Points

27. Josh Freeman (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) @ Seattle

Tampa Bay quarterback Josh Freeman continues to struggle as he threw for just 93 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions in a loss to the Jets this past Sunday. In all fairness, the Jets are one of the hardest teams to pass against, something Freeman found that out the hard way. Don’t expect that poor of a performance this week from Freeman, but don’t expect him to go off either.
Point Projection: 7 Points

28. Mark Sanchez (New York Jets) vs. Atlanta **CHECK INJURY STATUS**

Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez was held out of action last week and Clemens got the start instead. Clemens played poorly, racking up just 111 passing yards, though Sanchez likely wouldn’t have fared much better. The two will split snaps this week in practice, according to ESPN.com. If Sanchez starts don’t expect much as he’s averaged just 8.5 fantasy points per contest on the year. If Clemens plays, expect even less.
Point Projection: 6 Points

29. Kyle Boller / Keith Null (St. Louis Rams) vs. Houston

In what proved to be a surprise to everybody, the Rams gave rookie Keith Null the start at quarterback instead of Kyle Boller, who was hindered by a thigh injury in week 14. Null threw for 157 yards with five interceptions. While head coach, Steve Spagnuolo is leaning towards using Boller in week 15, he says he’ll do so only if Boller is at 100%. No matter who gets the start, neither is an option you want to be relying on in week 15.
Point Projection: 5 Points

30. Ryan Fitzpatrick (Buffalo Bills) vs. New England

Despite two consecutive games where he threw for less than 100 yards and threw two picks to just one touchdown, the Bills have committed to Ryan Fitzpatrick as their quarterback this week against the Patriots. Seems like a bold move, but one that won’t pay off.
Point Projection: 5 Points

31. Matt Moore (Carolina Panthers) vs. Minnesota

Though Carolina Panthers’ starter Jake Delhomme could return this week, it appears likely that Moore will get at least one more start. Regardless of which player starts neither of them should be anywhere near your fantasy football even with the Minnesota Vikings’ weakness being their pass defense. After all, the team did just limit Carson Palmer to under 100 passing yards.
Point Projection: 4 Points

32. Charlie Frye (Oakland Raiders) @ Denver

While head coach Tom Cable has chosen to view Bruce Gradkowski’s injury as a day-to-day issue. With torn MCLs in both knees, we’d say he’s done for the year. With that being said the Raiders have decided to start Charlie Frye over bonus baby JaMarcus Russell in Week 15. However, at this point and time, fantasy owners should know that whoever the Raiders’ quarterback is they hold absolutely no value.
