17. Chad Henne (Miami Dolphins) @ Jacksonville

Miami Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne put together the finest football game of his professional career last week in a win over the New England Patriots. It was also his best fantasy football performance as he threw for 335 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Clearly the potential that the Dolphins saw in Henne is starting to show through. While we would like to predict another big game for Henne this week, as Miami is playing against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which has had a hard time stopping the pass, we don’t want you to put too much on the young quarterbacks shoulders. Unless the Dolphins are behind and need to throw, it should be another mediocre week for Henne.
Point Projection: 13 points

18. Jay Cutler (Chicago Bears) vs. Green Bay

In his last three games Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler has as many touchdowns as interceptions (3) and has not eclipsed 200 passing yards in any of those games. We still maintain our thinking that Cutler has the talent to get it turned around for the Bears at some point, however playing against the Green Bay Packers this week won’t be the week it all clicks. The Packers have allowed 22 passing touchdowns on the season but they allow less than 200 passing yards per contest and have picked off opposing quarterbacks 21 times in 12 games.
Point Projection: 12 Points

19. Kyle Orton (Denver Broncos) @ Indianapolis

The Broncos are glad that quarterback Kyle Orton is back and playing, but he hasn’t been much of the reason why Denver has been winning recently. The Broncos are mirroring the Cincinnati Bengals, using good defense and a good running game to win games. Last week the Broncos ran the ball 45 times while attempting just 25 passes. Expect Denver to do more of the same in this game as they try to control the clock and keep Peyton Manning off the field, meaning limited opportunities for Orton.
Point Projection: 12 points

20. Eli Manning (New York Giants) vs. Philadelphia

Giants quarterback Eli Manning has been very inconsistent recently and this week’s match-up with the Philadelphia Eagles won’t provide any relief. He did throw for 241 yards and two touchdowns in Week 12, but his numbers were skewed by some big plays as he completed just 11-of-25 attempts. In a Week 8 meeting against the Eagles Manning threw for 222 yards and a touchdown but he also had two interceptions and could muster just 11 fantasy points. Expect a similar performance from Manning this week.
Point Projection: 11 points

21. Bruce Gradkowski (Oakland Raiders) vs. Washington

Not only has Oakland quarterback Bruce Gradkowski led the Raiders to wins in two of their last three games but last week in a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers he threw for 308 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. Given how Gradkowski has played in the past we know he won’t continue to channel his inner Peyton Manning forever and against the Washington Redskins this week it will be tough going. He is worth a waiver wire pick-up in a deep league that requires you start two quarterbacks but don’t expect him to be a decent play until his Week 16 match-up against the Cleveland Browns.
Point Projection: 11 points

22. Ryan Fitzpatrick (Buffalo Bills) @ Kansas City

After playing well two weeks ago Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick laid an egg last week as he threw for just 98 yards with no touchdowns and one interception against the New York Jets. Expect Fitzpatrick to have somewhat of a bounce back game this week against the Kansas City Chiefs, who are 27th or worst in every major defensive category. In the last two weeks the Chiefs allowed an average of 43.5 points per game and even an anemic Bills offense should be able to move the football .
Point Projection: 11 points

23. Chris Redman (Atlanta Falcons) vs. New Orleans  **CHECK STATUS OF M.RYAN**

Turnovers last week against the Philadelphia Eagles limited Atlanta quarterback Chris Redman to single-digit fantasy football points. This week Redman will face the New Orleans Saints defense that leads the league in interceptions so he isn’t in line for a rebound performance. On a separate note, the Falcons haven’t ruled out the possibility of Matt Ryan playing in this game but he is questionable at best. Even if Ryan did return to action this week he wouldn’t be a recommended option with your season on the line.
Point Projection: 10 points

24. David Garrard (Jacksonville Jaguars) vs. Miami

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback David Garrard threw for 238 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions last week against the Houston Texans. Though the Miami Dolphins defense doesn’t rank well against the pass, this is the same team that held the potent New England Patriots offense to just 21 points last week. Look for Garrard to put together a decent amount of passing yards but also make a few bad decisions that will lead to a turnover or two.
Point Projection: 10 points

25. Matt Hasselbeck (Seattle Seahawks) @ Houston

Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck played well last week as he threw for 198 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. But Hasselbeck has struggled with his consistency this season and in general so has the Seahawks offense. It will be tough to play on the road at the Houston Texans, which has been a middle of the road defense but limits opponents to 214 passing yards per game. Until Hasselbeck can prove he can be consistent from week to week he will be in the bottom half of these rankings.
Point Projection: 10 points

26. Mark Sanchez (New York Jets) @ Tampa Bay  **CHECK INJURY STATUS**

New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has now gone four consecutive games without putting together a double-digit fantasy football performance. Against a terrible Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, we like him to break that streak. As evidenced by the point prediction below, it won’t be by much. Even with a nice match-up the Jets offense has been all over the map in 2009 and you are better offer seeking other options. Plus, Sanchez is dealing with a knee injury and will need to be monitored throughout the week.
Point Projection: 10 points

27. Matt Cassel (Kansas City Chiefs) vs. Buffalo

What an awful performance Kansas City quarterback Matt Cassel had last week in a loss to the Denver Broncos. In that game Cassel threw for just 84 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. It was so bad that he was pulled in favor of Brodie Croyle towards the end of the third quarter. Cassel should be able to post better statistics this week but he will be facing a tough Buffalo Bills defense that is third in the league in passing yards allowed.
Point Projection: 9 points

28. Brady Quinn (Cleveland Browns) vs. Pittsburgh

Three straight weeks now Cleveland quarterback Brady Quinn has put together double-digit fantasy performances. This week he’ll have the luxury of playing at home, though it will be against the rival Pittsburgh Steelers. As bad as the Steelers played last week in a loss to the Raiders, they should be able to get it back together this week to limit Quinn and the Browns. Expect him to make it four straight games with at least one touchdown but that could come with a handful of turnovers.
Point Projection: 9 points

29. Matthew Stafford (Detroit Lions) @ Baltimore  **CHECK INJURY STATUS**

Late in the game last week with the Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford suffered an injury to his shoulder on his non-throwing arm. He is listed as questionable this week. If he can’t play then Daunte Culpepper will get the start instead. Playing against the Baltimore Ravens, in a game that Baltimore must win, neither player is worth consideration for your fantasy football team.
Point Projection: 8 points

30. Kyle Boller (St. Louis Rams) @ Tennessee

With just 113 yards, no touchdowns and one interceptions last week against the Chicago Bears, to say St. Louis quarterback Kyle Boller struggled would be an understatement. This week Boller has a tough road trip at the Tennessee Titans. The Titans do rank 31st in passing defense and have allowed 26 passing touchdowns on the season but the Rams have scored all of five touchdowns on the road this season (6 games).
Point Projection: 7 points

31. Matt Moore (Carolina Panthers) @ New England

The last two quarterbacks on the rankings this week shouldn’t deserve consideration in any fantasy football league whatsoever. The first, Carolina’s Matt Moore, completed a fair number of passes last week but didn’t get a lot of yards, had no touchdowns and threw an interception. Expect more of the same this week, meaning he should be avoided at all costs.
Point Projection: 7 points

32. Josh Freeman (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) vs. New York Jets

The second of those two quarterbacks is Tampa Bay’s Josh Freeman. No disrespect to Freeman, who looks like he’s going to be a good quarterback in the coming years for the Buccaneers, but going against the New York Jets pass defense is something we wouldn’t wish upon any rookie. The New York pass defense ranks No.1 in the NFL and has allowed just seven passing touchdowns and opponents average a league low 167 passing yards per game.
Point Projection: 6 points
