26. Santonio Holmes (Pittsburgh Steelers) vs. Cincinnati
Holmes had six catches for 93 yards on Monday night in Pittsburgh’s road victory against the Broncos, and he seems to be coming back to life in the past few weeks after an early-season malaise. Holmes’ 90-yard effort marked the second time in three games he’s reached that plateau, though he still leaves something to be desired – namely, touchdowns. He still hasn’t scored since Week 1.
Point Projection: 9 points
27. Braylon Edwards (New York Jets) vs. Jacksonville
Oddly, with Jerricho Cotchery out of the lineup, Edwards was less productive than he was with Cotchery in the game. That includes the Jets’ last game, when Edwards went for 74 yards and one touchdown on four receptions. He’s got a very good match-up this week against the Jaguars; expect him to take full advantage of it.
Point Projection: 9 points
28. Percy Harvin (Minnesota Vikings) vs. Detroit
Harvin tied a career-high in Week 8 with five catches, and set a career-high with 84 receiving yards while also scoring a receiving touchdown for the first time since Week 2 as the Vikings took down the Packers. His game in Week 2 happened to be against the Lions, who Harvin and his teammates will once again take on this week, but this time at home, with the crowd on their side. Expect good things.
Point Projection: 9 points
29. Derrick Mason (Baltimore Ravens) @ Cleveland
It wasn’t for lack of targets that Mason managed to catch just three passes for 31 yards last week as the Ravens lost to the Bengals – he was targeted 13 times on the day, but he just failed to click with Joe Flacco. Still, he had caught a touchdown in each of his two previous games, and is eighth in the AFC in total targets, and usually with that many opportunities, he’d make something happen. Just like his last game against the Browns, when he had five catches for 118 yards and one touchdown.
Point Projection: 9 points
30. Lee Evans (Buffalo Bills) @ Tennessee
Evans had emerged from nothingness to accumulate at least 65 yards and a touchdown in Weeks 6 and 7 before fading in Week 8 (the Bills had a bye last week). But nothing cures an ailment of wideout unproductiveness in fantasy football like facing the Titans. They’re last in the NFL in pass defense, have allowed the most passing scores, and have allowed more fantasy points to wide receivers than any other team.
Point Projection: 9 points
31. Roy Williams (Dallas Cowboys) @ Green Bay
Williams boldly stated last week that he and he alone was the Cowboys’ No. 1 receiver. Most people scoffed, considering the ascension of Miles Austin, but Williams did have four more catches than Austin last week – five to Austin’s one. And though Williams also had 75 receiving yards to Austin’s 49, Austin was the one traversing into the end zone, while Williams was kept scoreless – again. He’s too talented not to put up respectable numbers the rest of the way – you’d think – and getting him involved last week was a nice first step to the possibility of bigger things ahead.
Point Projection: 9 points
32. Devery Henderson (New Orleans Saints) @ St. Louis
With Marques Colston struggling last week, Henderson stepped to the plate and delivered with three catches for 93 yards and one touchdown. He may not have an exact repeat performance this week, but against the Rams and their meek 22nd-ranked pass defense, he’s a very good option.
Point Projection: 8 points
33. Donnie Avery (St. Louis Rams) vs. New Orleans
Avery is always a threat to get banged up and leave a game early, but he’s also always a threat to make a big play. And coming off a bye week, Avery should be healthy and ready to play. Before his last game against Detroit, he was showing signs of coming out of his season-long malaise, having had three straight games with at least five fantasy points, and two games with at least seven.
Point Projection: 8 points
34. Earl Bennett (Chicago Bears) @ San Francisco
Jay Cutler looked Bennett’s way 11 times last week as the Bears were humiliated by the Cardinals, and the second-year pro tied a career-high with seven catches while setting a career-high with 93 receiving yards. You have to like his chances at having another productive game against a below-average 49ers pass defense.
Point Projection: 8 points
35. Bernard Berrian (Minnesota Vikings) vs. Detroit
If things go for Berrian how they have been over his last five games, he’ll get in the end zone this week. That’s because he scored a touchdown in Week 4, did not in Week 5, scored again in Week 6, and failed to score in Week 7 before once again sauntering into the end zone in Week 8. So, with this being an even-numbered week, he’s as good as gold, right? Unfortunately, it’s not quite that simple, as he’s clearly been lowered in the pecking order of Minnesota receivers. Still, against Detroit, there’s always a chance for any receiver, regardless of place in pecking order, to put points on fantasy owners’ scoreboards.
Point Projection: 8 points
36. Steve Breaston (Arizona Cardinals) vs. Seattle
Breaston had five catches for 66 yards and a touchdown in Arizona’s rout of the Bears last week, and added a 25-yard rush for good measure. It was Breaston’s fifth game with at least 65 receiving yards, and it was his second touchdown of the season. As it turns out, his first score was in Week 6 against the Seahawks, in a game where he also had seven receptions for 77 yards.
Point Projection: 7 points
37. Mike Wallace (Pittsburgh Steelers) vs. Cincinnati
Somewhat quietly, Wallace is having a dazzling rookie season. He caught four passes for 69 yards in Pittsburgh’s win over the Broncos on Monday night, and added a touchdown for good measure. It was the third time in four games he caught a touchdown pass, and the fifth time in his last six games that he had at least 50 receiving yards.
Point Projection: 7 points
38. Justin Gage (Tennessee Titans) vs. Buffalo **CHECK INJURY STATUS**
Gage’s season seems to have been salvaged with the return of Vince Young under center. In the last two games, with Young throwing the ball, Gage has seven catches for nearly 140 yards, and would have had more if not for having to leave last week’s game early with an undisclosed injury. Though you’ll want to check to be certain, he seems to be just fine for this week.
Point Projection: 7 points
39. Jeremy Maclin (Philadelphia Eagles) @ San Diego
Maclin was targeted nine times last week in Philly’s loss to the Cowboys, which was four more looks than any other wideout had in the game. Unfortunately, the result of all those targets was minimal; Maclin had just three catches for 44 yards. Still, it says quite a bit that he’s getting that amount of passes thrown his way with all the other weapons the Eagles possess.
Point Projection: 7 points
40. Santana Moss (Washington Redskins) vs. Denver
With Clinton Portis out, Moss is Washington’s lone offensive playmaker, and even he isn’t that consistent. He hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 4, and has only gotten more than 50 receiving yards in a game once since that time as well. But someone has to make something happen for the Redskins, and at some point Moss will break out once again, though it could be tough for him to do so this week.
Point Projection: 7 points
41. Robert Meacham (New Orleans Saints) @ St. Louis
Meacham caught five passes for nearly 100 yards and a touchdown last week in the Saints’ win over the Panthers. It was his first game of the ’09 campaign in which he caught more than two passes, yet his touchdown catch was the third of the season for him. He’s had at least 45 receiving yards in three of his last four games.
Point Projection: 7 points
42. James Jones (Green Bay Packers) vs. Dallas
You can no longer ignore what Jones is doing, not after last week’s four-catch, 103-yard, one touchdown contest. He’s scored three times over his last four games, and has a play of at least 30 yards in four of his last five games. Dallas is just 20th in the NFL against the pass, and 22nd in passing touchdowns allowed, so consider him if you need a quick injury replacement.
Point Projection: 6 points
43. Laveranues Coles (Cincinnati Bengals) @ Pittsburgh
After a start to the season that made most fantasy owners forget about him, Coles has made them stand up and take notice with his recent play. Last week he had his most productive day in a Bengals uniform, capturing season highs with six catches and 72 receiving yards. That marked his third consecutive game with at least seven fantasy points. And with Chris Henry lost for the season with a broken arm, Coles should see even more looks.
Point Projection: 6 points
44. Terrell Owens (Buffalo Bills) @ Tennessee
Owens’ ranking here is based more on his terrific match-up than any other factor. If there were ever a week that he would give fantasy owners something for their investment, it would be this one, against a Titans team is the worst in the league against the pass.
Point Projection: 6 points
45. Antonio Bryant (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) @ Miami **CHECK INJURY STATUS**
Bryant did not play last week due to his balky knee, so be certain he’s on the field this week if you’re using him, but it seems like he should be able to go. He remains the Bucs’ most talented wideout and the one most prone to getting into the end zone, which he did twice in Tampa’s last four games. The Dolphins are not a good pass defense, making this match-up a bit more intriguing.
Point Projection: 6 points
46. Pierre Garcon (Indianapolis Colts) vs. New England
Garcon was targeted nine times last week in Indy’s win over the Texans, and wound up with a career-high five receptions and 60 receiving yards. Garcon’s speed is an important element to the Colts’ passing game, and in five games this season, he’s had at least one reception for 25 or more yards.
Point Projection: 6 points
47. Johnny Knox (Chicago Bears) @ San Francisco
Knox had four catches for 30 yards last week, which was the fifth straight week he failed to eclipse the 50 receiving yard barrier. That will come to an end this week against San Francisco, who is one of the 10 most generous teams in the league when it comes to allowing fantasy points to receivers.
Point Projection: 5 points
48. Greg Camarillo (Miami Dolphins) vs. Tampa Bay
Camarillo’s solid game last week – five catches for 77 yards – and excellent match-up this week boosts him into the top-50 in the rankings this week. Camarillo and his teammates go up against the Buccaneers this week, a team that has allowed more touchdown throws than all but two teams, and one that has allowed the third-most fantasy points to wideouts this season.
Point Projection: 5 points
49. Mohamed Massaquoi (Cleveland Browns) vs. Baltimore
Massaquoi has done little of late to earn the trust of fantasy owners, failing to generate more than 30 receiving yards in either of his last two games, but he has shown flashes before, and the Ravens are not a top-notch defense against the pass, even though they’ll likely look like it in this contest. Still, if any wideout is going to make something happen here, it’ll be the rookie from Georgia.
Point Projection: 5 points
50. Andre Caldwell (Cincinnati Bengals) @ Pittsburgh
Laveranues Coles isn’t the only one who should benefit from the absence of Chris Henry with a broken arm. So, too, should Caldwell, who had only three catches for 15 yards last week but found his way into the end zone for the third time this season. His first touchdown of the year was scored in Week 3, when the Bengals took on the Steelers for the first time, beating them in the final minutes of game.

What are you talking about? Derrick Mason put up almost nothing against Cincinnati in his last game.

Hand of God,
Mason plays the Cleveland Browns this week not the Cincinnati Bengals and when he faced the Browns in Week 3 for 118 receiving yards and a TD on 5 receptions.
You are right when you say Mason did almost nothing against Cincinnati in Week 9 but he plays the Browns in Week 10
