The Dallas Cowboys placed kicker David Buehler on injured reserve Thursday.
Undrafted rookie Dan Bailey has successfully converted 20 of 21 field goal attempts this season in place of Buehler, who had been nursing a groin injury.
Buehler, 24, competed in four games this season for the Cowboys, who simply weren't interested in carrying two kickers on their roster.
