The Denver Broncos have signed quarterback Caleb Hanie to a two-year deal, according to a source close to the situation.
Hanie will serve as one of Peyton Manning's backup after the Broncos signed the former MVP and traded away last year's No. 1 QB Tim Tebow to the New York Jets. Hanie will get a chance to win the No. 2 job during training camp.
Hanie, who has 679 passing yards, three touchdowns and 10 interceptions for his career, started four games for the Chicago Bears after Jay Cutler's injury last season.
