Bears QB Cutler, fiancee Cavallari expecting baby

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and fiancee Kristin Cavallari are expecting a baby.

“We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together,” the couple told People. “It's an amazing time in our life and we can't wait to meet the new addition to our growing family.”

“She is really happy,” a source told US Weekly. “She is in the early stages, but she can't wait to be a mom.”

The couple began dating in 2010 and Cutler originally proposed to the reality television star in April 2011. Cutler, 28, and Cavallari, 25, briefly split up later in the summer, but got back together and announced their engagement in November.

Cutler tossed 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions before a broken right thumb caused him to miss the final six games of the 2011 campaign.
