FANTASY FOOTBALL CUT LIST: QB | RB | WR | TE | K | DEF
Week 8 of the fantasy football season is in the books and we now have a pretty good idea of the players set to underachieve this season. Some players are just stuck on terrible teams while others are just plain bad. We’ve also added a few players to the list that should be dropped because of injury. If you read our Waiver Wire Savior articles and are wondering who to drop this week, have a look at the list below. All of these guys are safe cuts in most league formats.
TEAM DEFENSE—CUT THEM LOOSE
Seattle Seahawks DST
The Seattle Seahawks have been playing great defense this year but they’ve only forced four turnovers in the last three games and have only recorded five sacks in that span. That’s a little concerning given that they played an turnover prone Detroit Lions’ last week. In any case they face a Minnesota Vikings’ team this week that has given up double digit points to a fantasy defense only once this season. Even the San Francisco 49ers’ defense failed to produce against them. Seattle is on bye in Week 11 anyway so there is no reason not to drop them now.
Consider Dropping In: 10-team, 12-team and 14-team Leagues
Cut Them Loose Watch List: Philadelphia Eagles DST, New York Jets DST, Minnesota Vikings DST
Keep Them Cut: Kansas City Chiefs DST, Jacksonville Jaguars DST, Baltimore Ravens DST
