FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 9 STARTS: QB | RB | WR | TE | K | DEF
Welcome to Week 9 of the 2012 NFL season and the fifth week of byes. Four teams are off this week including San Francisco, St. Louis, the New York Jets, and New England. Off the table are players like Sam Bradford, Dustin Keller, the 49ers defense, and no Rob Gronkowski.
Here are our “Fantasy Football Start ‘Ems” for Week 8 of the 2012 season. As a reminder, everyone knows to start elite players like Aaron Rodgers, Calvin Johnson, and LeSean McCoy, so when we compile our list we make sure to focus on serviceable players that will benefit from a favorable matchup.
WIDE RECEIVERS – START ’EM
Denarius Moore (Oakland Raiders) vs. Tampa Bay
Scoring in three straight games and four of his last five, Moore is on fire; he has consistently been targeted 8-10 times every week. Normally, Moore doesn’t get the yards with the scores, but the Bucs are giving up an average of 309.6 passing yards each week. This kid is due for big breakout game in all fantasy formats.
