FANTASY FOOTBALL CUT LIST:  QB  |  RB  |  WR  |  TE  |  K  |  DEF

Week 7 of the fantasy football is in the books and we now have a pretty good idea of the players set to underachieve this season. Some players are just stuck on terrible teams while others are just plain bad. We’ve also added a few players to the list that should be dropped because of injury. If you read our Waiver Wire Savior articles and are wondering who to drop this week, have a look at the list below. All of these guys are safe cuts in most league formats.

WIDE RECEIVERS—CUT THEM LOOSE

Jerome Simpson, WR, Minnesota Vikings

It was expected that Jerome Simpson would have a concrete role as the WR2 once he returned to the Minnesota Vikings’ offense. He has not and though his back appears to be fully healed; his play on the field has been less than useful. He has just four targets and a single catch the last two weeks. His schedule doesn’t look good either. Normally it would be warranted to wait for a solid player to come around but with Simpson we already know that the best stats he will put up will be mediocre. Move on.

Consider Dropping In: 12-team and 14-team Leagues

Kevin Ogletree, WR, Dallas Cowboys

Kevin Ogletree come out of nowhere to score two touchdowns in Week 1 and he instantly became the hot waiver wire commodity in Week 1 of the fantasy football season. However, after five weeks of poor and inconsistent play, his time as a fantasy impact player is officially over. After having eight catches for 114 yards in Week 1, Ogletree has managed only 13 catches for 134 yards since. With the Dallas Cowboys’ offense so stagnant, it’s time to part ways with the fourth option in their passing offense.

Consider Dropping In: 10-team, 12-team and 14-team Leagues
