FANTASY FOOTBALL CUT LIST: QB | RB | WR | TE | K | DEF
Week 7 of the fantasy football is in the books and we now have a pretty good idea of the players set to underachieve this season. Some players are just stuck on terrible teams while others are just plain bad. We’ve also added a few players to the list that should be dropped because of injury. If you read our Waiver Wire Savior articles and are wondering who to drop this week, have a look at the list below. All of these guys are safe cuts in most league formats.
TEAM DEFENSE—CUT THEM LOOSE
Pittsburgh Steelers DST
The Pittsburgh Steelers has always been one of the most hyped yet underachieving fantasy defenses every year. This year is no different. They’ve only forced an average of one turnover per game and are averaging less than two sacks per game. Considering their weak schedule, that is a bit surprising. In any case, they face the Washington Redskins and New York Giants back to back in the coming weeks. Those two teams have given up the 29th and 32nd most points to opposing defenses this year. It’s a good idea to avoid those matchups.
Consider Dropping In: 10-team, 12-team and 14-team Leagues
Cut Them Loose Watch List: Philadelphia Eagles DST, New York Jets DST
Keep Them Cut: Kansas City Chiefs DST, Jacksonville Jaguars DST, San Diego Chargers DST, Baltimore Ravens DST
