FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 8 STARTS: QB | RB | WR | TE | K | DEF
Welcome to Week 8 of the 2012 NFL season and the fifth week of byes. Four teams are off this week including Baltimore, Houston, Cincinnati, and Buffalo. Off the table are players like A.J. Green, Arian Foster, Stevie Johnson, and Ray Rice.
Here are our “Fantasy Football Start ‘Ems” for Week 8 of the 2012 season. As a reminder, everyone knows to start elite players like Aaron Rodgers, Calvin Johnson, and LeSean McCoy, so when we compile our list we make sure to focus on serviceable players that will benefit from a favorable matchup.
WIDE RECEIVERS – START ’EM
Lance Moore (New Orleans Saints) at Denver Broncos
With Jimmy Graham out, Moore went to work in Week 7, making plays in the short-to-intermediate routes and tied Marques Colston with 10 targets. Graham could play a limited role if he does actually play Sunday, so we are sticking with Moore playing that reliable part in the Saints offense as their All-Pro tight end continues to mend. Plus, this game will be high scoring so there should be a lot of chances for Moore to make one count.
