FANTASY FOOTBALL CUT LIST:  QB  |  RB  |  WR  |  TE  |  K  |  DEF

Week 6 is in the books and we now have a pretty good idea on the players set to underachieve this season. Some players are just stuck on terrible teams while others are just plain bad. We’ve also added a few players to the list that should be dropped because of injury. If you read our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Savior articles and are wondering who to drop this week, have a look at the list below. All of these guys are safe cuts in most league formats.

WIDE RECEIVERS—CUT THEM LOOSE

Golden Tate, WR, Seattle Seahawks

Golden Tate drew everyone’s eye because of his non-catch to beat the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. Other than that game, he has been next to useless for fantasy purposes. He’s had only 13 targets in the past three games and he caught just seven of them for 85 yards. There is simply no reason to roster a wide receiver averaging less than 40 yards per game on limited targets. Dump him and try to find a waiver wire option that plays on a better passing offense.

Donald Jones, WR, Buffalo Bills

Donald Jones looked decent in his first four starts because of his two touchdown catches. In the two games since, he’s managed only three catches on eight targets for 22 yards. Until he gets more involved in the offense, he’s simply not worth owning in any leagues. With the Buffalo Bills hitting their bye in a week, you can safely dump Jones now.
