FANTASY FOOTBALL CUT LIST: QB | RB | WR | TE | K | DEF
Week 6 is in the books and we now have a pretty good idea on the players set to underachieve this season. Some players are just stuck on terrible teams while others are just plain bad. We’ve also added a few players to the list that should be dropped because of injury. If you read our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Savior articles and are wondering who to drop this week, have a look at the list below. All of these guys are safe cuts in most league formats.
TEAM DEFENSE—CUT THEM LOOSE
Baltimore Ravens DST
This might seem like a strange cut suggestion but it is recommended. The Baltimore Ravens’ defense has by no means played terrible but they clearly haven’t been at their typical level. They are giving up 400 yards and 20 points per game. They’ve forced 11 turnovers but have managed just 10 sacks. None of that really matters after this past week. Standout Lardarius Webb and perennial power Ray Lewis both went down with injury. Webb tore an ACL and is done for the season. Lewis will miss the rest of his season with a partial triceps tear. Add to this that Haloti Ngata got banged up and Terrell Suggs is still on the PUP list and it’s a recipe for disaster. Even if Suggs returns soon the Ravens are going to be without three of their best defensive players. They face a brutally efficient Houston Texans offense this week and should be avoided if at all possible.
Consider Dropping In: 10-team, 12-team and 14-team Leagues
Cut Them Loose Watch List: Philadelphia Eagles DST, New York Jets DST
Keep Them Cut: Kansas City Chiefs DST, Jacksonville Jaguars DST, San Diego Chargers DST, Oakland Raiders DST, Carolina Panthers DST
