FANTASY FOOTBALL CUT LIST:  QB  |  RB  |  WR  |  TE  |  K  |  DEF

Week 5 is in the books and we now have a pretty good idea on the players set to underachieve this season. Some players are just stuck on terrible teams while others are just plain bad. We’ve also added a few players to the list that should be dropped because of injury. If you read our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Savior articles and are wondering who to drop this week, have a look at the list below. All of these guys are safe cuts in most league formats.

WIDE RECEIVERS—CUT THEM LOOSE

Dexter McCluster, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

Dexter McCluster had the makings of a reliable slot receiver early in the season. He was getting a decent number of targets and was catching enough to make him a viable PPR talent. Unfortunately, things change. With Jamaal Charles back to his regular self and Jonathan Baldwin emerging at wide receiver, McCluster has been all but hung out to dry. He failed to record even a single target this week after catching just two balls for six yards last week. He should be dropped universally until he somehow becomes fantasy football relevant again.

Greg Little, WR, Cleveland Browns

Anybody who decided to take a risk on Greg Little is now regretting it. This week he failed to make the box score for the second time this season. Little is now averaging just over 28 yards per game and is being outplayed by every receiver on the roster. It’s simply not worth owning a player who has as much a chance of putting up zero points as a good game. If you are desperate to own a Cleveland Browns’ receiver, Jordan Norwood is the team’s clear leader with Mohamed Massaquoi out. He’s had 19 targets the last two games. In any case, dump Little in every league format.
