FANTASY FOOTBALL CUT LIST: QB | RB | WR | TE | K | DEF
Week 5 is in the books and we now have a pretty good idea on the players set to underachieve this season. Some players are just stuck on terrible teams while others are just plain bad. We’ve also added a few players to the list that should be dropped because of injury. If you read our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Savior articles and are wondering who to drop this week, have a look at the list below. All of these guys are safe cuts in most league formats.
TEAM DEFENSE—CUT THEM LOOSE
New York Giants DST
The New York Giants’ defense has been struggling of late but has still been a viable play because of the turnovers they are able to force. They currently have forced 11 turnovers but have only been able to manage 8 sacks. This is somewhat surprising considering the talent on their defensive line. They are giving up over 22 points per game and don’t yet have a defensive or special teams’ touchdown. They play the San Francisco 49ers this week who have had only a single pass intercepted this season. To make things even worse, the 49ers defense has caused them to blowout everyone. It’d be wise to avoid the Giants this week if at all possible.
