FANTASY FOOTBALL CUT LIST: QB | RB | WR | TE | K | DEF
Week 5 is in the books and we now have a pretty good idea on the players set to underachieve this season. Some players are just stuck on terrible teams while others are just plain bad. We’ve also added a few players to the list that should be dropped because of injury. If you read our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Savior articles and are wondering who to drop this week, have a look at the list below. All of these guys are safe cuts in most league formats.
RUNNING BACKS—CUT THEM LOOSE
Bernard Scott, RB, Cincinnati Bengals
Bernard Scott finally got a shot at a decent workload this week when BenJarvus Green-Ellis struggled. He looked outstanding right off the bat with 40 yards on just five carries but then he went down with an apparent injury to his left knee. Scott’s injury has now been ruled an ACL tear and he will miss the rest of the season. Cedric Peerman and Brian Leonard will fight over Scott’s role but aren’t worth adding yet. Scott can obviously be dropped universally.
Consider Dropping In: 10-team, 12-team and 14-team Leagues
