FANTASY FOOTBALL CUT LIST: QB | RB | WR | TE | K | DEF
Week 4 of the fantasy football season is in the books and we now have a pretty good idea on the players set to underachieve this season. Some players are just stuck on terrible teams while others are just plain bad. We’ve also added a few players to the list that should be dropped because of injury. If you read our Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Savior articles and are wondering who to drop this week, have a look at the list below. All of these guys are safe cuts in most league formats.
WIDE RECEIVERS—CUT THEM LOOSE
Titus Young, WR, Detroit Lions
Titus Young is way too widely owned right now for how little he has done this year. Outside of the Hail Mary he caught in Week 3, he has only eight catches for 71 yards in four games. That is terrible. Any hope that Week 3 was a sign of things to come died this week with his single reception for 17 yards. Young is not worth owning at all right now, especially when the Detroit Lions’ passing game looks so inconsistent. Drop him and make room for someone that can get you more than a couple of fantasy football points per week.

Randy Moss, WR, San Francisco 49ers
Randy Moss started the year with four receptions and a touchdown in Week 1, however has done little since. In his last three games, Moss has just four receptions for 41 receiving yards. He’s received just eight targets in that time and his playing time is being severely limited. On the other side of the spectrum, teammate Mario Manningham has seen an increase in playing time and targets. He’s averaging five targets per game and has 131 total yards in the last two weeks. It looks like Moss’ age is finally catching up with him. It’s best to drop him now before the 49ers do.
