FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 5 SITS: QB | RB | WR | TE | K | DEF
Setting your lineup can be difficult once the full bye weeks commence, and that is where we find ourselves in Week 5. The waiver wire has been picked clean, options are limited and you’re stuck with some tough lineup decisions. Our Fantasy FootballWeek 5 Sit ‘Ems should help you decide who to bench, and as usual there are some big names on this list.
The biggest names are running backs Fred Jackson of the Buffalo Bills and Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans. Jackson returned from injury to play last week but only had 29 rushing yards. Johnson had his best game of the season with 141 yards, but he still finds himself on this list as well because of a tough matchup in Week 5.
KICKERS - SIT ‘EM
Alex Henery (Philadelphia Eagles) @ Pittsburgh
With two Eagles already on this list it’s clear we do not find the matchup this week with the Steelers to be a favorable one. The Eagles were better at not turning the ball over last week but still had trouble moving the ball with consistency. Philadelphia kicker Alex Henery did manage his first double digit fantasy performance last week but that appears to be an exception, and not the rule. The Steelers will do a much better job of stopping the Eagles this week than the Giants did last, which is going to put Henery back is familiar 5-6 point range.

Rob Bironas (Tennessee Titans) @ Minnesota
Like the Eagles matchup against the Steelers, the Titans also face a bad matchup with the Vikings this week. Bironas is the third Titan on this list. The Titans are going to struggle to move the ball and get into field goal range. Aside from that though, look at Bironas’ numbers. Yes he had a double-digit fantasy performance in Week 3 but he’s averaging just 6.3 fantasy points per game, and he’s already missed two field goals this season. That’s a bit out of the ordinary considering he missed just three all of last season.
