FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 4 STARTS: QB | RB | WR | TE | K | DEF
It’s Week 4 of the 2012 NFL season, and some of you are probably still in a haze from last week’s shocking results. It was a wild week of football, one that gave us plenty to think about for this week and unfortunately complain about. How about that Monday night game? Be sure to check out our Waiver Wire Savior List , Waiver Wire Cut List articles, and Long-Term Investing articles.
Here are our “Fantasy Football Start ‘Ems” for Week 4 of the 2012 season. As a reminder, everyone knows to start elite players like Aaron Rodgers, Calvin Johnson, and LeSean McCoy, so when we compile our list we make sure to focus on serviceable players that will benefit from a favorable matchup.
QUARTERBACKS–START ’EM
Joe Flacco (Baltimore Ravens) vs. Cleveland Browns
On the Thursday night game, the Ravens play host and we should see another long day for the Browns secondary. This will be their first time seeing the Ravens rebooted offense. Flacco is averaging over 300 yards a game his first three weeks and the Browns just got picked apart by Ryan Fitzpatrick last week. The Browns miss Joe Haden who’s halfway done with a performance-enhancing drug suspension. They’ve given up six touchdown passes to six different receivers in the last two games. Expect more of the same Thursday.

Peyton Manning (Denver Broncos) vs. Oakland Raiders
Manning’s completion percentage has dropped in each game, and is working harder to get the same old results. He’s thrown the ball 89 times in the last two games and has been humbled, but Manning has a matchup that should allow him to get back on his game. The Oakland Raiders give up the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Look for Manning to throw another 300-yard game and at least two touchdowns.
