FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 3 SITS: QB | RB | WR | TE | K | DEF
You want big names? Well, we’ve got them in our Fantasy Football Week 3 Sit ‘Ems. It’s not that we’re out to get these guys but so many premier players have bad matchups this week. Take a look at Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, for example. Vick has seven turnovers and four touchdowns in his first two games. He is considered an elite fantasy quarterback but at what point do you bench him? Vick’s potential is enough but at some point you must be honest with yourself and admit he’s playing poorly.
Vick is one of many players to grace this week’s list but he is far from the only big name. Three of the four running backs themselves were considered first-round fantasy picks heading into the season. So be sure to check out the rest of our Fantasy Football Week 3 Sit ‘Ems.
TIGHT ENDS - SIT ‘EM
Jermichael Finley (Green Bay Packers) @ Seattle
Sometimes Green Bay tight end Jermichael Finley can be one of the most frustrating players from a fantasy perspective. As good as Finley can be sometimes he’s just not a big part of the team’s game plan, like last week when he caught just four passes for 26 yards and no touchdowns. Expect that to be the case again this week against a Seattle defense that’s given up just nine fantasy points and no touchdowns to tight ends this season.

Jacob Tamme (Denver Broncos) vs. Houston
In the Denver Broncos’ Week 2 tight end Jacob Tamme caught just two passes for 19 yards and no touchdowns. The Broncos were stymied by Peyton Manning’s three first-quarter interceptions and really didn’t look to Tamme much after that. Though Tamme will certainly have better games this season don’t expect one of them to be this week against the Houston Texans. The Texans defense has been all around good, but it’s been especially strong against tight ends having given up just one fantasy point to players at that position thus far.
