FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 3 SITS:  QB  |  RB  |  WR  |  TE  |  K  |  DEF

You want big names? Well, we’ve got them in our Fantasy Football Week 3 Sit ‘Ems. It’s not that we’re out to get these guys but so many premier players have bad matchups this week. Take a look at Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, for example. Vick has seven turnovers and four touchdowns in his first two games. He is considered an elite fantasy quarterback but at what point do you bench him? Vick’s potential is enough but at some point you must be honest with yourself and admit he’s playing poorly.

Vick is one of many players to grace this week’s list but he is far from the only big name. Three of the four running backs themselves were considered first-round fantasy picks heading into the season. So be sure to check out the rest of our Fantasy Football Week 3 Sit ‘Ems.

KICKERS - SIT ‘EM

Sebastian Janikowski (Oakland Raiders) vs. Pittsburgh

Of course any kicker going against the Steelers is going to be a bad matchup, but Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski has more than that working against him. Janikowski is currently listed as questionable for this week’s game because of a groin injury and he’s not practiced much because of it. A groin injury for a kicker is never a good thing, and combine that with a Steelers defense that’s only allowed nine total fantasy points to opposing kickers this season you get a very poor week to start Janikowski.

Matt Prater (Denver Broncos) vs. Houston

Coming into the season it was believed that Denver kicker Matt Prater would benefit from playing behind the Manning-led offense. He hasn’t. Prater has combined for just eight fantasy points this season and it’s largely due to his lack of field goal attempts. Prater’s attempted just one field goal so far. It’s unlikely Prater will have much to do this week as the Broncos face a Houston defense that’s allowed just five fantasy points to kickers all season. Keep him on the waiver wire.
