Nov 7, 2012
Welcome to Week 10 of the 2012 NFL season and the sixth week of byes. Four teams are off this week including Cleveland, Arizona, Washington and Green Bay. Off the table are players like Trent Richardson, Larry Fitzgerald, Alfred Morris, Robert Griffin III, and no Aaron Rodgers.
Here are our “Fantasy Football Start ‘Ems” for Week 10 of the 2012 season. As a reminder, everyone knows to start elite players like Aaron Rodgers, Calvin Johnson, and LeSean McCoy, so when we compile our list we make sure to focus on serviceable players that will benefit from a favorable matchup.
RUNNING BACKS – START ’EM
Michael Turner (Atlanta Falcons) at New Orleans
Turner owners have had this game circled for weeks as the bruising back should be able to exploit the Saints’ biggest weakness. The “Aints” have given up eight rushing touchdowns already and at least eight running backs on seven teams rushed for 80 or more yards. There are Turner naysayers who think the team is thinning out his carries but Turner is progressively getting heavier workloads as the season continues. Turner may be all over the map as far as weekly stats go, but the matchup is too good to overlook.
