Nov 9, 2012
One of the best games this week features two of the league’s elite - the Houston Texans and the Chicago Bears. Although the game is expected to be a great one, it’s not going to be so great if you own fantasy players from those teams. The quarterbacks from those teams - Matt Schaub and Jay Cutler - find themselves on our Week 10 - Sit ‘Ems list this week as both are expected to struggle against the opposing defense.
Another big game, though not because of the team’s records, is between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. Both teams find themselves with coaches and quarterbacks on the hot seat, and both teams find themselves with players on our Fantasy Football Sit ‘Ems list this week as well.
KICKERS - SIT ‘EM
Alex Henery (Philadelphia Eagles) vs. Dallas
There aren’t many better opportunities for a kicker to score fantasy points than against a porous New Orleans Saints defense. Yet, Philadelphia kicker Alex Henery managed just seven fantasy points last week. This week the Eagles are matched up with the Cowboys, which should be an interesting matchup for Henery. On one hand the Cowboys have given two big games to kickers in the last two weeks, but on the other those came to teams with much better and more consistent offenses than the Eagles. Henery is a risk even with a good matchup, it’s best just to avoid him.

Rob Bironas (Tennessee Titans) @ Miami
In his last six games Tennessee kicker Rob Bironas has scored double digit fantasy points just once. The Titans just are good enough offensively to give Bironas the opportunities he’s had in past season. Bironas’ matchup this week with the Miami Dolphins does him no favors either. The Dolphins have given up just one double-digit fantasy performance in their last five games, and they’re giving up an average of just 7.6 fantasy points per game to kickers.
