Mark Sanchez (New York Jets)
Sanchez had another big game in Week 3 against the Oakland Raiders, going 27-for-43 for 369 yards with two touchdowns and one interception along with a rushing touchdown. He has now topped 330 passing yards in two out of three games this season and two touchdowns in every game as well. Week 4 brings a matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, who seem to be vulnerable to the passing game this season so far. A couple of nice matchups against the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins follow in Week 5 and 6, so Sanchez seems likely to continue to be productive. He is likely widely owned in 12 and 14-team leagues (78 percent ownership in Fleaflicker leagues), but owners in 10-team leagues should grab him immediately if he is available.
Consider Adding In: 10-Team Leagues
Matt Hasselbeck (Tennessee Titans)
Hasselbeck had his second straight 300-yard game on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, as he went 27-for-36 for 311 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt went down with a severe knee injury in the game, but the fact Hasselbeck was still very productive without him bodes well for the near future. Two favorable-looking matchups are coming against the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers prior to Tennessee’s Week 6 bye, and after that two more nice matchups against the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts in Week 7 and 8. The Titans look likely to let the “Bald Bomber” air it out frequently, which makes him a must-add as a QB2 with upside across all formats.
Consider Adding In: 10-Team, 12-Team and 14-Team Leagues
Quarterbacks Watch List: Jason Campbell (Oakland Raiders), Andy Dalton (Cincinnati Bengals), Jon Kitna (Dallas Cowboys), Christian Ponder (Minnesota Vikings), Brady Quinn (Denver Broncos), Charlie Whitehurst (Seattle Seahawks)
