Wondering which player you should target on your fantasy football league’s waiver wire in Week 4. Don’t worry we’ve got you covered. Here are the Bruno Boys’ recommended “Fantasy Football Waiver Wire - Pick Them Ups” for the week ahead.

Quick Note: Not all players that had strong Week 3 outings are on this list, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t have value. If you have any questions about free agents not discussed in this article, head over to the forums and we’ll help you with the answers.

QUARTERBACKS - PICK THEM UP

Colt McCoy (Cleveland Browns)

McCoy went 19-for-39 for 210 yards with two touchdowns and one interception against the Miami Dolphins, and has thrown five touchdowns and averaged 211.3 passing yards per game this season. He has also averaged 14 fantasy points per game (ESPN scoring) so far, but does get a tough matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Week 4 as the Titans entered Week 3 allowing just 6.5 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. After the Browns Week 5 bye, things should get easier against the Oakland Raiders, Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers from Week 6-8. Fantasy owners who are facing the bye week of their primary quarterback during that stretch may find McCoy to be an upgrade to their current backup signal caller. He is unlikely to post huge numbers with the overall lack of skill position talent around him, but the consistency he has shown to this point in the season cannot be overlooked.

Consider Adding In: 10-Team, 12-Team and 14-Team Leagues

Vince Young / Mike Kafka (Philadelphia Eagles)

Michael Vick was injured for a second straight game in Week 3 against the New York Giants, this time suffering a fractured right hand. His status for Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers is considered questionable right now, opening the door for Young or Kafka to get the starting nod. Kafka has seen action after both of Vick’s injuries, going a combined 11-for-16 for 107 yards with two interceptions. Young has been dealing with a hamstring issue this season, but if he is ready to go for next week may get a chance to start. Whoever gets the start stands to be at least a serviceable fantasy option against a 49ers’ pass defense that has proven vulnerable to this point in the season. Fantasy owners who have Vick should obviously keep an eye on his injury status as the week goes on, and be ready to grab whoever is in line to start if they have the roster space.

Consider Adding In: 12-Team and 14-Team Leagues, particularly if you own Michael Vick
